Great local produce (and delicious jams, plus teas and more) at super reasonable prices, AND supports local growers? Couldn't ask for a better little shop!
I do wish the signage was more obvious, but if you get confused it's the house with the chicken run and *not* the one connected to the garden across the drive.

Long time friend, Lisa Nunn, is so passionate about this non-profit and we were excited to visit Let's Grow Akron's little shop - open Tue-Sat from 10a-6p. We got super fresh produce (just picked mustard greens, kale), and kimchi - so delicious! Can't wait to visit on market day at Summit Lake as well 😋

If you want the best produce in town at good prices, Let's Grow Akron is the place for you! Lisa and Z are always helpful if you have questions. Let's Grow Akron store is located in a beautiful place by the lake. When you go say hi to the chickens.

They teach canning classes, and know many ways to grow and use herbs. Visit them at one of the many local farmers markets to try some of their organically grown produce. They also make jams, jellies and you can buy herbal teas.
This organization has done much for their community and for all of Summit County. You'll never meet a nicer bunch of people than those that work at Let's Grow Akron! I've also visited many of their garden locations, and I have always left impressed by the knowledge that these local gardeners share.
They also yearly offer free training classes to help aspiring home gardeners grow more food and useful plants for their families. I can't say enough about the amazing gardens, both beautiful to behold and filled with delectable fresh food and herbs, and spectacular flowers.

Great organization and group of people who work hard bringing organically grown food to people living in food deserts and inner cities. They're the primary source for learning how to establish and maintain community gardens in Akron, helping participants with gardening issues and advice.

They also sell cage-free eggs, soap, processed foods, and seeds from their gardens. A great and welcoming place to volunteer.

I absolutely love this place if they are doing great things for the community. I came by to pick up vegetables with my food stamp card and I was quite surprised with the amount of vegetables that you get. And the quality of the vegetables was a lot better that you would see at the grocery store
