It's always wonderful. However, I only volunteered to refresh their entry garden....and then ate across the street at Luigi's Italian restaurant. See the giant dart board with giant Darts in the Symphony's building side.

Our musicians are wonderful. Our maestro, Christopher Wilkins, is wonderfully talented. This combination has resulted in great concerts. Writing this in August 2021, I can't wait for the new season. Beethoven's Fifth is on the program for November. It will be terrific!!

I'm principal oboe, so I am biased obviously. But, if concertgoers are looking for exciting new or underrepresented works being performed alongside the "classics", please give us a try. The ASO is trying very diligently as of late to be relevant to our community and audience through our new take on programming and collaborations. We are going for a symphony experience quite different than what has been viewed as stodgy or old school at many other orchestras. We'd love to have you give us a try!

Christopher Wilkins is one of the most engaging, passionate, and accessible conductors I've seen anywhere in the US or Europe. He uses wit and a remarkable wealth of knowledge to unite audiences of all ages, backgrounds and cultures to delve into the masterful works of the fine orchestra he conducts.
