Yes I am a African American male giving this place a 1star. My family is biracial. My wife is white. I always give honest reviews wherever I go. But This place was giving out Turkeys during the holidays, my wife and a neighbor went to get one for our family. She was refused one from one the ladies passing the turkeys out. When asked why she couldn't receive one the lady said because she was white and it was for urban people. And yes my neighbor received one and she is black.

I had horrible experience they lied w my payout never helped lied to my landlord to st Vincent de paul cant help that race dint help but as i read i see it was MY ISSUE CANT BELIEVE TO BE TREATED THAT WAY then a year later still getting screwd by them please just get out of my poor life let me struggle on my own

Greater location than some of the other urban leagues i have been too... now that i think about it, they should have Competitions with urban leagues in different cities if they already do not. Yet, overall I like this location alot with there great staff here .

God bless the akron urban league took a friend to get hooked up for her and her 2kids they made her Christmas better a big ham and all the fixings they were so happy it made me happy thank you so much akron urban league your the gratest

They use to hold banquets and social events which has stopped but should start back up I think and the employees are polite and curtious
