One of the nicest little towns in southern Colorado. The kids enjoyed playing in the warm water and river. Good coffee (Italian standard) without any added funny flavors can be found in the village 😉

Peaceful walk by the river. Several hot spring run offs/pools along the way. As we walked, we eventually came to the Geothermal Greenhouses. This was my favorite area. We visited in the fall and there were still flowers in bloom. I bet it’s incredible in the Spring. Weren’t able to go inside the greenhouses due to maintenance but I took a peek through the glass in the door. Looked awesome.

This is such a gorgeous park. Great clean facilities that open at 6am. Good area for fishing, taking a nap, reading a book, or just kicking back and enjoying the lovely scenery. An added bonus is the hippy dip hot springs right next to the park, nice hot water next to the river. Relaxing! Nearby many different great restaurants and bars all within a short walk. Good area to shop for ski and fishing gear. Very dog friendly community.

This park is a beautiful green space in the town of Pagosa Springs. The park is adjacent to the San Juan River. It's really cool that a river runs right through this park.

There's a footbridge in Town Park, so you can walk right over the river. That's really fun, and it's safe because no motorized vehicles or horses are allowed to use the bridge.

There's a playground in the park, and a Little Free Library! There are also picnic tables and bear-proof trash cans present.

This park is a really wonderful, beautiful place to hang out.

Great town park with a little of everything. Great walking trails, river access, green space, community garden and greenhouses, picnic areas, and more. We really enjoyed walking around this park and town in general.

The park has a restroom, a nice playground, picnic tables right next to the water. Plus you can walk a few hundred feet along the sidewalk and get in the free hot springs flowing into the river.

We always enjoy visiting this park on our annual summer trip to Pagosa Springs. You can access the river here and there's a bridge close to the parking lot for viewing the river. It is also a good place to park to access the San Juan River Walk, especially if you have someone in a stroller or who uses a wheelchair.
