Terrible they counted my income twice which put me over the income limit my kids have very important medical appointments that they have to go to and we don't have any coverage and when I asked about CHP+ I got a sticky note with medicaid number that was tossed on to the counter instead of handed to me and when I asked to speak to a technician I was told in a very rude manner that they didn't have technicians on site pretty disappointed in this place to be so rude to someone whoes trying to get health insurance back when it was them who messed it up to begin with I understand I'm being pushy about it but something has to give when medical help is needed and they terminate my medical benefit when I don't make over the income limit.

Update*** A few hours after posting here about the trouble getting through to anyone by phone, my phone rang and one of the technicians asked me if I was the one that left the review on Google? I said yes. She said she was so happy to find me, because they read the review and wanted to speak to me. They went through their computer files and called every single person that matched my name, trying to find me. You know, I was impressed by that - and I know it wasn't necessary for them to do it. I'm so glad they did, as I did have an urgent matter. My husband passed and I needed information on the Burial Assistance program.

I was able to speak with the person that could help me, and I drove down to their office a few days later, because a faxed form wasn't getting through to them, even though it was sent three times.

As soon as I parked, I was confused. The building was surrounded in construction fencing and yellow tape. I thought I was in the wrong place, then I asked someone walking by. She said, yes, I was at the right place. She pointed to a white trailer.

I learned their building is being remodeled, and the staff had been moved to a small, portable type office trailer. A second trailer nearby is being used as a mailroom and has the fax machines in it.

So with all the cables and wires temporarily going to the trailer, I imagine that somewhere a cable isn't tight or wasn't hooked up properly, causing the communication problems. Just my opinion.

Hope they get their building remodel finished, very soon. A lot of people need their help, and it's not always possible to go there in person. The staff was very helpful and cared about my particular issue, and my problem has been resolved - since I went there. So if you can't get them on the phone, you may just have to go there in person.

Anyway, I'd left a one star review originally, but changed it to five now that they made the effort to find/help me.

02 24 2023 Several calls to them today. I can hear them but they can't hear me. They have bad phone connections. I have an urgent matter regarding the death of a loved one. No other contact numbers I can find. Frustrating.

Every time I come into the Loveland Branch it doesn't seem to take very long. Although, the disorganization is horrible. They have no ticket number or any way to tell who has come in first. I have had many incidents where somebody who just walked in got help and I've been sitting there waiting for help. All they do is call the next person but they have no idea who the next person is. They should really work on their organization to guarantee fairness amongst their customers.

Extremely disappointed with the lack of support from “human services” I wish I could report this to someone but, I guess this is the only option.

Disgusted with your actions with human beings.

Update! We went in the day we said we were going to. Everything got taken care of the same day. Thank you all so much. Very easy to work with and get things done!

Okay, putting 3 stars. Because we are just now having a problem for the first time in 5 years. I have always done recertification and all of my uploads on the peak website for the past 5 years without it being a problem. Now, even tho I've done everything they have asked on both my account and the account of the lady, I take care of Kimberly. But suddenly got a letter stating that I didn't and I'm going to lose my benefits. I called, and the person I talked to found the files I uploaded and said they would take care of it. It still didn't get taken care of, so I called again, and they said they would take care of my account and had me email a couple more files for Kim's account. Still haven't heard back and am going to start losing my paycheck due to them not getting their jobs done. I don't know if it's a lack of workers or what? We will be going to the office today and if everything goes well I will update this review! God bless and hope everyone is not having this problem like us during this time of year. Also the people are great and nice everytime I call. I just suppose it's an understaffed and over worked crew.

Absolutely the worst possible service I have ever seen! Waited two hours on the phone only to have the service hang up on me! Worst excuse for a government office I have ever seen! They should be ashamed of themselves for calling themselves "helpful!"
