I chose Susan to be my real estate agent because she's been in Salida for a long time, is a leading expert in her field and is an involved member of the local community.  But more importantly, for me, she took the overwhelming process of buying a house and turned it into an interesting and rewarding experience. How did she achieve this? Susan was a great listener and with that skill understood what I was looking for. She educated me about each part of purchasing a house so there were no surprises, was patient when I was unsure and had lots of questions and was so supportive every step of the way. We talked through all of my difficult and not so difficult decisions (at my request) and she was a strong advocate for me when needed. Every single step of our time line worked out seamlessly and we had a very short timeline to work with! I so appreciated her knowledgeable, kind, patient and helpful approach to helping me find my new home! I highly recommend Susan to anyone looking to purchase or sell a property in the area. Hunter with Pinon Real Estate was fantastic! He talked through the comps and gave us great advice on how to maximize our return. We cannot say enough good things about Realtor Hale Camp at Piñon Realty! She is truly the best. Hale came to us highly recommended by a family member who recently sold their home. We called her right away when we decided to sell our home and we were not disappointed. Our home was not an easy home sell, but she sold it!

When we went to close escrow we learned that we did not have a clean title. In order to take care of the title issues, we had to file a “Quite Title” action with the courts. We learned then that our title errors were super difficult, dating back 70 years, involved 3 generations, and even involved another Country (Italy). The court process took 10 months.

Hale is a beautiful person and has a very positive and calming way of handling frustrations, set backs, and communications. In the 10 months we were involved in the court mess, we never had to wonder what was going on one time, Hale was on top of everything single thing from beginning to end. She checked in with us frequently, communicated with the attorneys, the buyer’s realtor, the title company, etc. She was reassuring, so very kind to us, always available and responsive, and we feel we could not have chosen a better Realtor.
