Lovely place and not $$ for the ambience and delish quality food, and they offer half-size plates too! Chicken-fried chicken with garlic mashed and cream corn was a hearty satisfying portion for me, for less than $12. Lost one star because it was drafty and they did not have the fireplace on (I know...but I'm big into ambience) Well be back and bring visiting fam! Btw the food pics don't show the full bowl of corn & I had eaten some of the main course lol. Friendly efficient servers were so appreciated also.

For the price I was expecting a little better. After being seated we waited ten to fifteen minutes to be greeted and asked for our drink orders. When I was a waitress the maximum time a customer should wait to be greeted is 3-5 minutes. Just a simple “I’ll be right with you folks” would suffice, instead we were given the cold shoulder. When we were finally greeted we were ready to order so we got that out of the way. Had the mussels as an appetizer and they were quite over cooked. The soup was ok but a bit bland. The entrees weren’t much better, we got a burger that was cold with hot fries at least and then chicken Alfredo that was also bland. The only time our server came to ask how our meal was, was after I asked her name to complain to the manager. She basically stayed away from us the entire time we were there and I had to ask her for a refill and other things when I could catch her walking by. Not good customer service. They did appear to be busy for a Monday but seeing as how the table right next to us got excellent service I don’t think that was the problem. Too bad we didn’t get the short gal with black hair, the review might have been much better.

Very cozy little find. My husband found this place and overall amazing reviews. The food was good, and the atmosphere was very cozy. You could see staff buzzing about taking pride in their work. I personally prefer when my silverware is wrapped up in a clean napkin and not laid down on a wiped-down table.

I can’t say my experience was stellar. The atmosphere was wonderful and our waitress was very sweet. Even though we had a reservation we still waited 30 solid minutes for our table then what seemed like forever before we saw our waitress. My steak was good and I ate it but it was rare, NOT med rare as ordered. They were out of baked Potatoes so we ordered loaded mashed potatoes, they were cold when they arrived. Promptly replace with hot ones but still. I would try again maybe it was just a bad night?

What a gem this was along our road trip route. It reminded us our favorite local steakhouse at home. Our waitress was extremely friendly and had a great sense of humor as well. 😊 She answered all of our questions and helped to recommend entrees for us. I could see the rooms as very quiet and romantic but our kids were with us this trip. I also loved the huge bar lining the wall in the room where you enter the restaurant with 2 old cowboys hanging out for a drink.
