Very kind front desk attendant, and relatively empty so it was very quiet. Had lots of history including ski history, a (temporary I think) native American art exhibit, and the Victorian section which was my favorite. Masks not required if you are vaccinated.

If you like history, then this is a must stop. It won't take you long to go through. It cost me $6. For its size, it was packed full of wonderful information, maps, pictures, and artifacts. You will get a great perspective of how this past of the country came to be. If you go on a Thursday you can meet Suzanne... what a delightful person to have as the person who introduced us to the museum...Don't miss this!

I thought they have done a wonderful job of displaying and sharing the local history and the life of early settlers. There is a little room for kids to explore hands on and my young children loved it. The museum was tough but enjoyable with my almost 3 year old, but not great for younger kids. We were glad we went.
