I'm so incredibly grateful for Julie and Warehome Studios! This is such a valuable space for the creative community in Steamboat Springs. I have taken several Date Night on the Pottery Wheel Workshops and they are always a blast! Warehome Studio and Julie are the best. For years, Julie has arranged classes for the homeschooled students of Steamboat Springs. It has been amazing to watch the skills of the children progress over the years. Every class was a blend of new students and those who were more experienced and Julie has a talent for giving each student exactly what he/she needs at the moment. It was so much fun to watch and learn that even the moms got involved and Julie was terrific with each of us also.
If you haven't tried clay, there is no better place to "give it a whirl" than with Julie at Warehome Studios. And if you are a seasoned expert, it is a great place to have your own space and share ideas with other interested artists.

We went to Warehouse Studios last minute for my moms birthday. Julie (the owner and an incredible ceramicist) was super flexible and was able to squeeze us in for a wheel-throwing lesson when our birthday plans were rained out. Neely was our instructor. She was super competent, patient, and fun to work with! We all are beginners, but with Neely’s careful one-on-one attention managed to make 3 pieces (each!) of ceramics that we’re going to cherish forever. The vibe was super relaxed and lovely. Would highly recommend! (Also check out their art upstairs! It’s amazing!) We’ll definitely be going back here and will be recommending to all our friends.

Julie and the Warehome Studios group have opened up a wonderful new avenue of my life! I have taken wheel, hand building, and private classes and also been a monthly renter. If you are interested in ceramics, I heartily recommend contacting the studio. I love Julie and everyone associated with the studio, what a great group of people! What an incredible date night! I haven't used a pottery wheel since high school but remember enjoying it immensely then. Julie was a fantastic instructor and explained the process thoroughly and was very encouraging and helpful. I can't wait to bring home my bowl and show off my creation with an ice cream sundae! I would highly recommend this for a unique, creative, exciting, and hands-on date night or small group activity.

Julie is a great teacher! I have never done any pottery before and I really appreciated that she asked my husband and I what our learning styles are and she accommodated perfectly! We had fun AND learned the basics of a craft. Highly recommend!

Warehome Studio is a wonderful place to learn ceramics or practice your craft. The studio is clean, organized and fully stocked with clay, equipment, tools, glazes and everything you need to explore your creativity and make beautiful pottery. Julie is a fantastic teacher. I returned to ceramics after many years and have learned SO MUCH from Julie. The studio one of the jewels of Steamboat Springs.
