The rudest "social services" department in the state. I guarantee it. I can't believe how rude and disrespectful these "case workers" are to people needing help. If you hate your job that much just quit. Unfortunately we are forced to deal with you. You are not, however, forced to work there.

Staff is reality friendly and helpful, which you don't always experience in the big city. I have had them lose paperwork, which has caused me issues. Also, the new location inside the building is frustrating. Not to mention they do not provide restrooms, so my 6 year son I had to leave and find a bathroom. Seems that a place that offers family services would provide bathroom its recipients to use.

No one seemed too eager here in the shared bldg to just let me know there is no senior services happening in that bldg. Quite impatient, one doing paper work in his office, another in a hurry to leave. No signage that should say "go to Durango Senior Center if you want help with Medicare".

My 'Person" told me mistruths, dropped the ball then lied about it. If you are a typically nice and polite person, brace yourself. It will hurt. Management brushed me under the carpet. I live with chronic PTSD. No empathy.
