Wow we have loved this place and recommend it all the time!!! My daughter had been seeing Miss Jenny for over a two years now on an as needed basis. We have loved the staff here and my daughter made significant progress on overcoming her separation anxiety. We started out on a weekly basis and have moved to as needed. I was shocked to see negative posts on the business at all. Intake took a little while to get set up, but this is typical in mental health. I really appreciated the time they took to find a perfect fit for my daughter. It did not take more than a few weeks to get going. Once we got going we had no issues whatsoever with scheduling.

I was surprised to see the one star reviews on here... My son has been going to KidStuff since May 2017. As far as the initial intake goes when I first reached out it took a week to get into his evaluation appointment and then maybe another week tops to get him a regular therapist. He's been seeing the same therapist once a week same day same time with no issues. Natalie has been a miracle for my son and I would recommend them to anyone who is looking for mental health services for their child.

I actually had the same experience as another poster: I was told this office will only accept Medicaid patients even though the website says this office accepts other forms of insurance. When I spoke with someone on the phone I was not told about the care membership program. I was told about the waitlist but I wasn’t even offered the option to be put on the waitlist. The person on the phone was unwilling to give recommendations for another office that may be able to take new patients with private insurance. I mean the whole thing was joke. As a parent, it’s very disheartening when you are at a complete loss and seeking help for your child and you are met with stubbornness. Our whole healthcare system (including mental health) is absolute garbage and unfortunately KidStuff just added to toxicity of the system. At this point I don’t even want to be added to the waitlist or offered the care membership; I just want other parents who are seeking help to know if you do not fall into the Medicaid category than you are not worthy of being seen by this office or at the very least, you are not worthy of being referred to another office that could help. Just don’t waste your time!

Went in today for my child's second appointment with a new therapist.
The therapist asked for feed back and said it was a safe environment to do so especially since she was still training that she needed feed back to get better at her job. My daughter was in tears at this point because the therapist wasn't giving my daughter a chance to talk and when she did give my daughter a chance she would really discount and brush off what was said. The therapist said earlier that both my daughter and I were both obviously experiencing anxiety over being there and repeatedly cut me off from talking. So she asked for my child's feed back, but she was too upset to say anything. The therapist asked me if I had any feed back. I calmly told her that it would be helpful if she didn't identify how other people were feeling with out asking them first and it would be helpful if she wouldn't cut people off from talking. She immediately said it wasn't going to work for us to see her. She caused huge detrement to my child who came to her for help
She should not ask for feed back and say it was a safe place to do so if in fact it wasn't. That makes her a liar and a hypocrite.
She will hurt your child more than do good.
Don't go here because she kicked us out with no referral because she didn't like the feed back she asked for.
Thats a special kind of messed up especially when you are working with kids
She should not be in this job due to her inability to handle her own emotions. Broken people should not be teaching kids coping skills, because she has none. And she can't expect to do her job as a professional by getting emotionally involved and unable to handle the emotions of others. Thats literally her job.
Her name is kristyial like Crystal but spelled different.
For your child's mental health avoid this place at all costs.

I am really surprised at of few of these negative reviews and can't help but wonder if some of these folks are the ones really needing therapy. We've been bringing our daughter to Kidstuff for several months now. She has been making wonderful progress and we absolutely love our therapist. Furthermore, the front desk staff have always been extremely courteous and nothing but kind and helpful. I would not hesitate to recommend their services to anyone.

My review has not to do with the therapists even though 1 cancels a lot and the other saw my daughter 6 times and then just quit. Some messages from Lauri were passed through them to me as well. Kidstuff as a whole and Lauri Underwood is VERY unprofessional and Lauri shouldn't be in upper management, at all.
I am happy to be moving my kids to another therapy clinic!!

Had a referral here from our pediatrician. Called to book an appointment and was told "commercial insurance" users have a "very long" wait-list. However, if we would like to pay out of pocket $80 per session (that does not go towards our insurance deductible), we can help you out right away.
How is that even remotely helpful to an average monied family? I wonder how many kids in our area, like my daughter, are out here continuing to suffer at school because y'all are more worried about making an extra buck than you are HELPING CHILDREN?

The staff at Kidstuff have always been extremely friendly and helpful, and their passion for helping people is evident in everything they do. They have been willing to work around my crazy ever-changing schedule, and made it easy for me to come back to appointments after taking a several-year hiatus. Everyone I talked to over the phone when setting up an initial appointment and figuring out my insurance was very professional. Out of the few counselors I've met with in the past, Laurie is the warmest, and I always felt very respected and like we were speaking on equal grounds (I've had past experiences with other places where I felt rather talked down to). I was very surprised by the few negative comments I saw on here (though I suppose all businesses have a few) - but maybe some people become more impatient/rigid when they are feeling the anxiety of trying to find a new counselor. I love the people ar Kidstuff and the passion they have for their goal!
