Honestly the worst rec soccer league around…. I have coached for them a few seasons. And was beyond disappointed with how they treat people. First off the cost to even register one kid is through the roof. And they don’t even provide a jersey. You have to spend another 50+ dollars getting jerseys. They do not provide proper gear to the coaches. At all. I had to spend money out of my own pocket to be able to even have proper gear for practice. We had one ref one time at our games. We literally had to use parents and myself had to ref every other game while trying to coach. It’s a joke. When I questioned as to where all that money we were paying was even going they refused to answer me …. Turns out it all goes to their competitive teams while the rec teams are left to fend and suffer for themselves. It’s honestly disgusting. They book 4 teams on one practice field and don’t care at all about the kids of the sport. They don’t value the youth unless they are in competitive. I’ve seen this first hand and tried voicing this a few times only to be shut down. I highly recommend taking your business anywhere else. There is a team in Frederick and Firestone that’s incredible and literally way cheaper with proper coaches and gear. There is also lyons and a few others. It’s very sad they aren’t able to make changes that are needed. I remember when I went to pick up stuff for practice they said. Well we have a couple balls ( which were the wrong size ) and a few cones….. oh and a coaches shirt. Like. We don’t need coaches shirts we need proper balls Pennie’s cones nets like. It was unreal. I paid for 4 of my kids to play as well and didn’t even receive a discount for coaching. We will never be back and I tell everyone I know to look somewhere else. Been tempted to create my own Longmont team because I actually care about the youth and the importance of youth sports in our community. Not just money hungry.

Do better REAL Colorado. You’re failing on so many levels.

Our experience, and more importantly, our kids' experience at Real has been exceptional. My children have played the range of levels offered by the club - from rec to competitive. Each kid has been supported and motivated at their respective levels. To date, our experience with coaches has been amazing - wholly professional with an ability to both lead a team, and find and motivate a kid as an individual. I highly recommend this club.

We absolutely love Real North! The transition from St. Vrain to Real was seamless, and we still maintain a great community feel. The coaches and staff are phenomenal, and the coaching itself is top notch. Our kids couldn’t be happier with the club, their coaches and their peers. We have been fortunate to have incredible families and maintain a tight knit community, while also having opportunities for growth in our players to more competitive opportunities in their soccer future (ECNL, MLS Next, etc.).

If you are looking for a club for your young soccer player then real colorado's North junior academy is the place! The coaching is professional and it can be seen they care more for the development of each player than just winning games. However, we have been very familiar with winning too! Practice time is never wasted, and the coaching staff have a rare ability to connect with the kids and keep them in order. They do a great job matching player abilities to appropriate teams to allow all kids to develop at their own pace. Each season our team has shown growth and improvement and each week I feel like I am watching mini pros! There are some video examples that will show the style of play if you search youtube for the 2013 Real Colorado invictus boys.

This club has only the best intentions for your child. They are there to help your child succeed in all aspects of life, not just soccer. The coaches are extremely knowledgeable of the game and prepare your child for success in the future of the sport, not just the present. It’s an extremely organized club with excellent communication. I wouldn’t have my child go anywhere else.
