Great facility! We go for the pools and always enjoy our time. The staff have always been super kind. Locker rooms are set up kind of weird. Bathrooms and family locker rooms are disconnected from each other? Unless I am wrong and haven’t sorted it out! Haha Anyway, great place! Clean, friendly, nice atmosphere.

An amazing building for a Recreation Center and friendly reception. But the room for fun and exhilarating cardio drumming with super cool Leslie D. is too small, considering the amount of space there is in hallways, stairways and all the public areas.

Where to start, they have terrible hours, the older lady who appears to be some type of manager is always rude and yelling at gym goers constantly, the cold plunge closes way earlier than the rest of the pool area, there’s always a line to check in because the girls/boys at the desk are either on there phones or doing homework.. meanwhile old mean white lady stands there and does nothing. This place sucks.

This is one of the best rec centers in the area. I love that they added a cold plunge, they really care about providing opportunities for healthy living to the community.

They took Via Appia from a 2 lane road and made it a one lane road in each direction. The increase in traffic and the increase drive time to get here is very frustrating. I will no longer use this rec center till they correct the road.

Since its renovation, the Louisville Rec Center offers a great pool experience, including a lap pool, a warmer water program pool, and a large pool for kids featuring a river. There is also a nice hot tub and sauna.

However, I find the changing areas a bit drafty and cool during winter, which could be improved for a more comfortable experience.

Really nice facility with excellent equipment. Front desk staff has been helpful and very nice. Can't say the same for the members... not at all friendly/welcoming in general. Really wish some of the 55+ men in the weight area wouldn't treat it as their own personal home gym!
4-star rating because the hours are very limited.
