Good music and a variety of blue grass. Nice people. Westcliff is a great small town. Very relaxing atmosphere. No stress. No drama. Set aside your worries and leave the big city behind and just enjoy the moment.

This is a wonderful festival under a huge, shady tent, with high valley views beyond. Wander in and out freely about the quaint festival ground, wide open campground, or a bustling mountain village. The organizers are genuine locals working for the benefit of area children. Audiences are mature and appreciative, with plenty of families attending. Admission price and camping remains a bargain, especially considering the top notch musicians chosen from both Colorado and the nation. Jam yourself in a circle late into the evening. The campgrounds are spacious, and the sky dark enough that players blend into the crisp high mountain air.

The absolute best Bluegrass Festival in the one of the most spectacular mountain valleys you will ever visit.
I felt that way in 1974, in the summer of my 27th year when I first came here.
I appreciate it even more today.
