I have only resided in Colorado Springs, Colorado for going on three weeks. My fiance and I relocated from Iowa and we have our emotional support dog with us. We don't have any family here nor do we know anyone, period. I walked in and it smelled so delicious. I have never left a food place before that feeds the homeless in Iowa and been so full. My tummy was very happy. I loved more than anything, the fact that you make everyone wash their hands walking in. God bless you so much for making us feel equal and NOT less than everyone else because we didn't plan our finances in our household better before we moved, doesn't mean we deserve to be fed crap food. Amen for these place.

Well, I went there for Help because they shut our electricity off for three days and they refused to help me unless I paid over $500 first well that’s how much I need just to get my electricity turned back on and that was a pickle I was in so if I went there for help because I don’t have a $500 to turn the electricity back on how am I gonna come up with $500 for them to help me, it makes no sense. You know to be honest there’s not one resource out there in this community that help people because I’ve gone everywhere and or church would help me turn my lights back on we had to borrow the money from a family member so there are no resources and the community lies and says that they’re all fax machines that are on that page.

This place is awesome helping homeless people eat everyday. We need more places like this in our community it’s sad how much food restaurants throw away everyday and don’t give to the poor. Marian House is truly a blessing and praise Jesus for Kind hearted people in this world!

I love serving here as I am able. Some folks come regularly but they can use anyone of any ability (ages 14+ so we like to serve with our teens.) Standard safety measures with food prep are followed. Amazing people here, both those we get to serve under, along side, or offer service too.

You do need to fill out a volunteer app online first.

Go as often as you are able! Your life will be richer for it.

The Marion House has a food pantry. I ate there yesterday. BBQ chicken and the soup are fantastic. Think I will go back today to eat. Thank you Marian House. On October 30th I had an appointment at the pantry. WOW what a choice they to pick from.
Like spices, beef jerky, chips, candy, granola bar, cakes, cookies, cheese, milk and chocolate milk, eggs, lunch meats, can goods, power milk, all kinds of meat, chicken, 🍔, juices, sodas, fresh veggies, pre-made salads, and lots more. I was amazed how much that you could get. Thank you Marian House.

The Catholic Church is rebuilding lives through diversity. The Diversity of programs available to the public is comprised of Locals operating privately with public foundations and silent society donations. There are reasons for secrecy surrounding money due to crime and charges alike. The criminal element in some states is a combination effort between the authorities and affiliated criminals, narcs, and snitches. You won't have to worry about that at the Marian House. Colorado Springs is rising above, along with the Front Range in a combined effort to stamp out drug and alcohol related abuses between individual civilians in every arena. Food is the only thing you find at the Marian House. Lunch has been served daily for a great number of days and is a combined effort towards recovering people just like me. I needed food and first aid for a dog bite, and an inhaler for asthma. The medical teams working in coordination with The Marian House are responsible and reliable. First let me recap what this review is about. Food. Arrive between 10:30 and 1pm and wait 30 minutes and you will have a meal, coffee or water, Suger and then something sweet to eat. Soup is brought to your table from a cauldron on a wheeled cart. Most of the workers are volunteering their time. Security personnel are sober and very professional. All you need to do is keep your voice down, be presentable, polite and profanity to a nil. You are not entitled to lunch, you are a guest. Count your blessings and your blessings will fill you heart and your backpack. Be wise, act accordingly or to the scripture. This is the only meal you need for an entire day if you live on the streets in Colorado Springs.
