Saint Paul's is a very special place, in my experience. The congregants are super-welcoming. Father Alan is humble and funny. He preaches the sermon with energy and passion, and models for us what it is to be a good Christian.

The Sunday morning service is traditional and dignified, and the evening service is casual and mystical. The choir and musicians are all highly talented. The church itself is gorgeous, with lovely stained glass windows.

I would give Saint Paul's a thousand stars if I could.

St. Paul's has been more than just a warm and inviting church community. My time there has been a very positive growth experience, both personally and spiritually. I find the sermons and Sunday adult class to be what I need for holding onto and expanding my relationship with Jesus Christ. Reading and understanding scripture isn't always the easiest thing for me, but through encouragement from our priest and group discussions, I have learned more in the past 2 1/2 years than in the previous 50 -- with much more to discover. There is also a strong and genuine commitment to outreach for people and organizations in the surrounding area. It is very uplifting and gratifying to be a part of a group of people who care so deeply.

St. Paul's feels like home to us after only 4 or 5 services. We are surprised really by the warm and friendly way the congregation treats one another (and us). This is also a group that takes community service to heart. While Father Allan preaches the gospel with gusto and takes theology seriously, he is vibrant and funny and a gifted, commonsensical teacher. We like the sermons, the ritual and ceremony, and the chance to worship and to reach for a little more of God's grace in our life in this welcoming and nonjudgmental place.

I must admit some bias here: I am the priest of the parish. So, if I'm obviously biased, then why not give us 5 stars? Well, because as much as I think we are a community that seeks "to live out the love of God as seen in JC (from our mission statement)," we have a long, long way to go. Yes, we try to be radically hospitable, reach out to the community in need (come eat a free meal on the First Wednesday of the month), and proclaim the Gospel in word and action. We do all that, but we don't do it perfectly—nor will we ever. We are a community of people trying to live the best we can the way Jesus taught us by loving God and our neighbors. Since Jesus isn't through with us yet, I give us 4 stars. When He comes back, then maybe we'll get 5—full and complete. 🙂

Father Allan is energizing, open and calming all at once! Nursery and Sunday school every Sunday. All are welcome! Just a great church for the not very religious but still spiritual.

St. Paul's Episcopal Church is a warm and welcoming community of people. Opportunities abound for spiritual growth along with participation in many outreach activities. Come for dinner. The Community Meal is the first Wednesday of every month.

I have passed by so many times. Went to a NISHMA service on Saturday evening. It was so refreshing. Friendly people. Really liked the honesty and integrity of the pastor and his insight into today's, challenges. I will sure go back

I'm not a pious man, but Fr. Allan and the folks at St. Paul's make mass enjoyable so going to church is probably better all-around over whatever else I'd do with a Sunday morning: like chores on one hand, or day drinking on the other. Haha! Right?
