This restaurant came highly recommended and we really wanted to enjoy our visit. It was a busy night and we were seated in the back section that is devoid of the traditional decor. It was more like an industrial brewpub vibe, so that was disappointing. Also, being close to the kitchen entrance, there was a constant stream of foot traffic as the staff came and went. The menu was the same as the traditionally decorated section and the food was excellent. The food is rich in flavor, as well as fat and heavy cream so buyer beware. While the overall experience wasn't bad, it wasn't what we expected given the hype. So, if you want the advertised experience don't sit in the overflow section!

What a treat to dine at the Sherpa House in Golden, CO! The food is delicious and is seemingly authentic. The ambience varies between rooms, the bar area being the most modern. If you can sit in the front room it’s the best in my opinion. I always get some level of inspiration from the restaurant, staff, and back story of the beginnings of the business. The culture center and shop are interesting and worth the time to visit.

Such a beautiful place and even amazing service and delicious food. We ordered veggie momo and it was okay..didnt seem very fresh, loved the chutney it came with. But saag and veggie stew along with garlic naan was so delicious. Would highly recommend

Please make a reservation. My colleague and I showed up on a Tuesday evening without a reservation and the restaurant was packed. Although we were seated within 15min of arrival but please make a reservation.

The food here is amazing!! I had the veg sampler and my colleague opted for the non-veg sampler.

The lamb stew has a lot of delicious heat, perfect on a cold day. Very satisfied with the options. Chai was frothy amd steamy, staff was friendly and responsive.

What a great place!! I've traveled to Nepal twice, so I was excited when a friend recommended this restaurant during a recent visit to Colorado. Take some time to look around, the place is nicely decorated. They have indoor and outdoor seating. The menu has many options with vegetarian and non vegetarian options. There are several traditional Nepalese dishes and some Indian dishes. Definitely try the tea!!!
