I recently came into the facilities looking to do a ride along. I met the police chief and other officers. They were all friendly and outgoing. When i did the ride along i managed to experience first hand of what the job is like.

Maria Maldonado was the officer that i rode along with. She explained to me everything about the job, the standard procedures police must follow, the functions of all the police equipment, testing the radar. Right as we started the right along we had the opportunity to help a distressed mom and her child. We also pulled over vehicles for speeding.
She kept herself composed, and showed professionalism.

Overall a good experience. Thanks for the opportunity!

One star because I couldn't give less. Police don't enforce parking laws. Have watched them pass a parked trailer with car on it that's been there over 3 days. I've called on this guy before but apparently he doesn't have to obey the rules or maybe the cops just don't want to have to deal with him or stop their car actually get off and ticket the trailer. Thus town is so big I'm sure the police are very busy here...right?
