They are a God send.. They help, they are so sweet and non judgmental. I told them I was embarrassed to ask for help and her reply was everyone needs help some times and it's okay. I personally can't thank them enough.

I am a victim of Domestic Violence and sexual assault so I needed a safe and supportive place to be in, so I left my abuser mind you we shared an apartment together. So I left our home and him to come and stay at Family Trees safehouse, thinking I did the right thing but little did I know I was actually making a terrible mistake by deciding to stay here. First of all you share a room with 3 other women. Ok that was difficult for me to adjust to, but even worse is the STAFF. Yes you heard me correctly, I said the STAFF is anything but professional and understanding and caring. They are insensitive, condescending, rude, hateful, and NOT supportive one ounce to what I was going through. Every time I asked a staff employee a question or if I needed something it literally felt like I was in the wrong for asking them a question or help, which they should just be to doing their damn job. They make you feel like a burden. So if that wasn't all bad enough it totally gets worse....... remember I mentioned that we are required to share rooms with 3 other women, well one of the women that was in the room with me was a complete drug addict and was smoking fentanyl in the room in front of the 3 of us. I then told staff what she was doing and they told me they couldn't do ANYTHING about her smoking fentanyl in front of us in the same room. So I literally had to breathe in fentanyl fumes. Wait, I'm not done yet... fentanyl chick ends up stealing some of mine and another woman's clothes and NOTHING was done about that either. I WOULD NEVER RECOMMEND FAMILY TREES SAFEHOUSE OR IT'S SERVICES TO ANYONE BECAUSE OF MY HORRIFIC EXPERIENCE THERE. If you're desperately needing help and a safe place to be because of Domestic Violence PLEASE DON'T CALL FAMILY TREE FOR ANY HELP BECAUSE YOU WILL REGRET IT I GUARANTEE IT

They used to be awesome but the support is gone. There's never funding available for anything any longer. They closed down their thrift store but offered ARC gift cards in its place but they've stopped that program too. It's not in the budget like everything else.

I'm not sure why I keep getting rejected they haven't giveva reason and others getting the help in front of my face I have kids too and they keep Saying they will call me back Why don't they just tell you I don't feel like helping you out but I feel like helping the person behind you 🙁

I donated socks here the other day from my 2nd grade class. Everyone I encountered was super friendly. All the employees I emailed with were also very grateful, kind, and responded quickly! We got the nicest thank you email from Cindy.

Oh also, can’t forget to mention the beautiful atrium!

If you are a landlord looking at whether to rent to someone as a part of this program I highly advise against it. I'm very disappointed with Family Tree. Their representative was hostile and escalated the situation unnecessarily. Despite my efforts to fix the issues quickly and fairly, including scheduling inspections and offering alternative accommodations, they were uncooperative and dismissive. Their lack of professionalism made an already stressful situation worse. I can't recommend Family Tree based on my experience.

I absolutely 💕LOVE The Family Tree! Once upon a time They helped me file for a divorce from an abusive relationship. They provided volunteer lawyers who gave their time to assist with the process... Years later I had the pleasure of working for The Family 🌲s ADORABLE Treasure Trunk Thrift store. Some of the best years of my working life♥️🥰 Thank you Family Tree & May God continue to bless this foundation🙏🥰
