I have just recently started attending Christ body ministries. And all I can say is YES! there is an amazing group of people here from all walks of life and having lost my faith after attending one of pastor sterlings sermons I am ready to attend regularly. They have delicious hot meals Monday through Friday with unlimited coffee brewed strong enough to wake you up even after a chilled sleepless night. Their clothing drive kinda saved my ass with another really nice hoodie that looks brand new and some warm socks to keep my feet warm. The water is HOT in the showers and they supply you with honestly pretty quality soaps for your shower. The pancakes on Fridays are light and fluffy and loaded with love. Many places offer services to those down on their luck but very few will be as welcoming kind and really driven by a sense of community. I will definitely be attending as a regular even possibly after I get back on my feet so if you ever want a great pickup on your darkest days please come in and attend service Fridays after breakfast. I'll be the guy always dressed with my signature suspenders and fancy tie. I look forward to meeting each and every one of you. Come and share your story with folks who genuinely care!! Mon-Friday 7 am start don't miss it.

I've been critical of some places and resources for the homeless here in Denver. This is one place does what they say. Doesn't just open for 9-11 minutes then run back in and close up. Decent enough and plenty real willing to engage and talk with you if that's what you want.

You can feel safe at this place and even make a friend or two. The food is so good. The shower so refreshing. The coffee so hot. I no longer am homeless but this place brought me comfort during a very dark period.

I had the pleasure of meeting Tiffany and Christina.
They brought warm burritos made w/love, blankets and jackets.
They talked to homeless, and less fortunate folks and handed out jackets and burritos.
The girls also talked to the manager of a local motel to find out if they could set up a stand for information and burritos for the homeless and less fortunate.
Thank you both for caring and helping me out in my time of need.

I love this place! For a church based, day shelter, it rocks! The best charity food out there. They have a large kitchen that they make all the meals at fresh daily. They don't serve you casserole versions of yesterdays food, like other places. Always large varieties of options. Even the pickiest of eaters can get full here for free. Big eating area indoor & outdoor. Laundry & showers offered same day. Decent size clothing closet. Public restrooms, hot coffee, Sunday evening mass & bible study optional offered. Last but not least FAVORITE thing,,,Fridays breakfast 8:30 all-you-cqn-eat pancakes!!!

LOVE the staff and volunteers here. They took care of me for years when i was down and out and I am eternally grateful. Can't wait till services get back to normal - and I pray for the success of this organization to move into the building next to them and expand their services.

Most of the staff cares. However, this place reminds you that hunger is underrated. They do, however, have a relaxed day shelter and after the meal is served and the kitchen is closed, there's a 2-hour Bible study nearly every day of the week. That may sound like a bore, but they don't mind if you sit in and drink some coffee and they don't make you participate. Just place a Bible in front of you and pretend you're reading it. For those not fully versed in how to properly pretend to read the Bible, just do a lot of yawning and eye rolling.
