We were a little worried about my Grandma rehabbing here after a stroke due to some of the reviews. However, we toured prior and were impressed with the cleanliness and were having a difficult time finding a place.
We are very happy with the care she received the two weeks she was at The Center at Lincoln. She received great care and rehabilitation and was able to return to her assisted living facility.
We had a very good experience!

I spent about a week and a half here after leaving the hospital. It is a clean facility, good amenities, and generally good personnel.

There were a few things that bring their rating down. For instance, sometimes when Physical Therapy was scheduled nobody showed up. But more concerning was the fact that they would often take a long time to answer a call button.
And often medications were combined rather then given at specific individual times.

At one point they had to call 911 on me because I was having slurred speech, etc. similar to a stroke. At the hospital I was told they felt it was an overdose of a medication.

On another bad situation I asked for some assistance. The nurse on duty was an " agency" lady who was particularly nasty and stuck her head in to say" can't you see I'm busy?". Well, no, I couldn't see she was busy since she was in the hallway. In any case, at the end of her shift, she noted she had given me medication which she actually hadn't given to me. I mentioned it to the follow-up nurse but don't know what became of it.

It was these several bad circumstances which kept the visit from being an otherwise good experience

Having been looking for the best care for my father-in-law, was severely disappointed in the service of the folks on the phone. The woman I spoke to on the phone seemed annoyed by my questions and upset to be speaking to me.. If this is who they have representing them, will certainly make the effort to go somewhere farther for better service.

If you care for your love ones don’t bring them to Center at Lincoln. The care is just Awful if the patient rings for help expect to wait a hour or longer for someone to come into room the patient will wet themselves before anyone will come in. Takes hours to get medicine, the food is simply awful and ice cold. To put it plainly this place is awful.

So far it's not a good experience you call the nurse station at night your waiting an hour it's a huge difference between the day workers and night workers. The day is ok . The food is ice cold and no taste. I was scared every night to leave my mother their. Not a good feeling. Very disappointed.

Wow... I’m fairly young and didn’t expect to have to spend time in rehab, so I can only be eternally grateful that my time recovering was spent at The Center at Lincoln! I was on the second floor and my wing was incredibly well maintained in both cleanliness and attentiveness of staff. My nurses were not only friendly, but emotionally supportive, and incredibly professional. I was on a regular schedule of necessary meds, including pain management, which was always well regulated. The CNA‘s were professional and helped with all the things I could no longer do for myself regarding self-care: they assisted with showering, dressing, and all forms of movement that I was unable to accomplish for myself. I was a fall risk and needed regular assistance and by simply pressing the call button I received all the help I needed. My physical therapists and occupational therapists saw me daily and gave me lots of encouragement and strategies for strengthening my body for a return home. As I also had a broken foot, I spent a lot of time in bed, and my meals were delivered in a timely fashion, always delicious, and I was able to choose from a myriad of healthy options. There was not one person on staff who wasn’t kind and friendly to me. I spent almost 3 weeks at the center, and cannot imagine having been treated better anywhere else! If your insurance allows you the option to choose, choose The Center At Lincoln!

If I could give negative stars, I would. My sister was there for one week. She was treated horribly. She kept telling them she was not feeling well and was weak. They told me she was just depressed and worried. They got mad because she had diarrhea. They told her they "could not find" the Imodium and did not give it to her for in a timely manner. To top it off, her stools were dark and tarry. Even I know that indicates a GI bleed. They still waited 3 days before the doctor did something and finally had her transferred to the closest hospital emergency room. The ICU doctor from the hospital contacted me to say he did not expect her to make it through the night. Her blood count was extremely low (due to an internal bleed). She was in kidney failure. Her blood pressure was extremely low, and a multitude of other things. If she was not one of the toughest people I know, she would not have made it. The hospital saved her life. If the staff at The Center at Lincoln had waited much longer, she would have died. Not only will I not recommend this place to anyone, I would recommend changes be made from the top down; a clean sweep, or shut it down. People's lives are in danger when obvious signs of a GI bleed are not addressed immediately. What else are they missing or ignoring in the many other patient's in their care? It is frightening to consider. Steer clear of The Center at Lincoln. Do your homework and go elsewhere. I almost lost my sister, because I trusted them.

For the most part, the experience was good. The nurses are good at their jobs and over worked, but they get the job done. There is a group of nurses that go a little farther and make everything nicers. The PT and OT crew did a fantastic job for me, I enjoy thework outs very much Thank You...
