Thank you Melissa Memorialfor rescuing me once again!!
So what happened was I was down in a UCHospital facility for four days with sepsis, during discharge their own Rx didn't have mu antibiotic or pain medicine. So they sent it to Walgreens. Get their to "pick up" my meds they give me a bag with 1 prescription in it sealed, it was pretty big. I had 5 prescriptions, so I thought I had them all. Nope get all the back here for all my follow ups coming and only had one and it wasn't antibiotics.
Amy Klevefrom the pharmacy and Dr. McCarty family practice collaborated with Walgreens and got me all set to go.
Thank you so much for caring about me, one among many, so much that you stopped everything to help me!! I can't thank you enough!! ALSO THANK YOU HOPE LOOKA FOR OFFERING ME NOURISHMENT AND HYDRATION WHILE I WAITED! GOLD STAR BABY I LOVE YOU!!!! ❤️

I love this facility, myself and my family care is here and we love our providers. Emergency dept has always helped and kept us informed and follow up is personal and inquisitive, reminding us they really care about our health.
I just started working here, it is a trying time for everyone due to medical mandate. That being said the administration has handled everything very diplomatically even when taking the opinions of employees in consideration. I want to say this is an amazing place to work and I am just thrilled to be here

As far as the physical therapy portion of this facility I have nothing but good to say. The ladies behind the desk were always kind and attentive. For my therapy I had Joel guiding me through what i needed to do and he was very informative and fun to be around, super solid guy.

This is an amazing little Hospital for the size of the town and community it supports. I have been going to it ever since I moved into the area. Its new and clean and they have all the newest equipment and technology.
The staff is always very friendly to me, they show that they care and take time to talk to you.
The Dr's. always seem to take the time needed to go over results with you and you do not feel like just a number moving through the system. I would have no problem going to this Hospital anytime and would trust my life in their hands. I have yet to have a bad experience. There is some Dr. turnover, but I think its presence is just felt more here because it IS a small community and smaller Hospital, and everyone knows everyone, but staffing change is not obtrusive or actually uncommon in any hospital. The Dr.s they do have are very educated, caring, and hard working to help out the community.

As for the town. It's really not as bad as CAROLYN CAMBRIDGE claims--> ( the Anonymous User ) Every town has its good and it's bad, but for a small town it's very clean and very friendly. Everyone is entitled to their opinions, the majority of the population does not share CAROLYN'S....

Melissa Memorial hospital is perfect for this community.

I had to go to the ER on the 5Th of July. I had hurt my back a couple of days before. I finally had to do something. But being from another part of the country I had no where else to go. Staff was friendly and listened to what I said. I was surprised that the pharmacy called me the following day to tell me my prescription was ready. I thought that was very nice of them. Then two days later The hospital called just to see how I was. This completely blew me away. I have never had a hospital call or a pharmacy call to see how you were doing. As a mobile millwright I got all across the country. And I’ve had to use Dr’s that didn’t care. This place on the other hand was completely different. I can’t thank them enough.

Melissa Memorial has some very dedicated individuals that are very good at what they do but this is overshadowed by the egos and middle school conduct of a few. Patient privacy is almost nonexistent. Once you walk out of this hospital everybody in town knows exactly what went on in the examination room. You couldn't pay me to go into the X-ray room because everybody knows what goes on in there when nobody is looking. All in all this hospital is like a small dog kennel full of Chihuahuas running around, barking, biting and humping everything. The egos and politics of a few eclipse the efforts of the individuals that are good at their job.

Horrible experience! I went in for extreme pain and was dropping in oxygen levels from my body tensing up. I wanted an X-ray or something because it felt like my insides were being ripped out and they wouldn't allow it because the X-ray technician went home so it was inconvenient for them. gave my Vicodin and sent me home. I'm still having pains to this day.

They also have no LDR doctors, their doctors keep quitting and no real pediatrics specialists.

I wouldn't recommend this place on your life, all they care about is the looks not the patients it seems

UPDATE 5 years later: it did end up being my gallbladder after going back a few more times in between for three yesr to be told it's heart burn and begging a new doctor to give me an ultrasound cuz she was very concerned about my treatment there as well. Well guess what I needed emergency surgery because it was inflamed, filled with stones and ooze. They had to make an extra cut to pull it out.

Terrible facility, terrible providers, terrible management. It is clear no one cares at this facility and I am pretty sure they are the least equipped medical caregivers anywhere. This place makes me think it is better to just drive to Denver with a broken bone than use these jokers.
