Totally worth the $8 admission charge. I very much enjoyed the Ute exhibit. Pictures don't do it justice, you need to check it out in person.

If you go, don't forget to check out all of the exhibits outside.

Definitely check the hours before you go.

If you want to know about the first cannibal in the States, Alfred Packer, you will want to come to the Hinsdale Musuem! Did Alfred Packer kill and eat the group of men he was guiding through a wintery mountain pass. Or has modern forensics proved he was an innocent man with a tarnished reputation for over 120 years? You know, innocent as in, he only took a few bites AFTER they died from murder and starvation. You decide!

We had the intro tour and the gentleman that helped us was so nice and knowledgeable about the history of Lake City and the surrounding area and more! Very nice exhibits. Don't forget the huge display and history of Alfred Packer.
