This store unfortunately needs some help in the customer service area. They keep their front doors unlocked in the morning (prior to opening time) and if you don't know what time that is you will be chased down in the store being told "We are NOT open you can't be in here" and be escorted out of the store by an employee. Highly embarrassing as a customer.

I'm sorry, but you should keep your front doors locked if your store is not open and not chase a customers down when they enter unknowingly because you keep your doors unlocked. This is definitely bad customer service practice.

The store is a smaller size store so it can be hard to navigate with a cart, wheelchair, etc throughout the aisles due to their narrow size.

After I was escorted out I watched 2 other customers enter the store - doors still unlocked and not being escorted out.

I'm an over the road truck driver from Denver, CO and I am and always have been an avid thrifter. I always make it a point to seek out second-hand stores along my routes and have found many top-notch thrift stores all across the nation. But as luck would have it, the very best of them happens to be right here at home, with this particular ARC outshining all of its competitors local and afar! This location is HUGE but it's also extremely well organized, making it easy to find whatever you are shopping for. It also has great prices on pretty much everything, especially on Saturdays when nearly all merchandise is half-off! But the best thing about this ARC is definitely the employees, who are all so much friendlier and more efficient than those at all of the other local thrift stores. I honestly cannot recommend this place enough! If you haven't been there, just get there! I promise you will not regret it!

Nice size thrift store with plenty of items to purchase. Has various selections and nice prices. On Saturday they offer 50% off most items. Has clean restrooms and fitting rooms to try on clothes. Nice to enjoy but customer service was average. Make sure to request bag at checkout as they don't offer and it will cost 10 cents per bag also. ENJOY!

I started going to ARC Thrift pretty much exclusively after a friend who has a daughter with down syndrome told me that they really do provide a lot of support to disabled people and causes related to them. Plus their half-price deals are amazing. I go to this one because it is large and has a big bunch of stuff for me to sift through. I Typically look for clothes here, and I have found some great stuff over the years. There are other thrift stores that may have a better selection, I miss the old savers store in Aurora, for example, but I'm so glad this one has dressing rooms. I hate when thrift stores don't have a dressing room.

I've shopped at a lot of Arcs around Denver and this one is approx 2-3x the price of others I've been to recently. Basic tops are usually 1.99-2.99 at other stores. Here they're 6.99-9.99. A lot of times you can get basics at old navy on sale for the same price or even less. It's just not worth it to shop secondhand if prices are this much.

I used to be able to get good deals here. Now the prices are ridiculous!! I can’t understand how you can charge so much for something you got for free. Yes, I know the $ goes to a good cause (supposedly.) However, I still think it’s ridiculous when they have furniture for almost $300. And selling things close to retail price.

Prices are super high here definitely not what you would expect from a thrift store. People go to thrift stores so they can get a good deal. Also, as someone who regularly donates to the arc, it’s discouraging to see that they are price gouging, especially for those in need who are trying to shop for their family and for those who are experiencing the pain of inflation. I’ve been disappointed nearly every time I come to this arc and I likely won’t be returning. There are much better Arcs, especially a newer one right down the road that has much better deals and better service.

I support Arc’s mission and shop for many things at their thrift stores.

However, in the last 2-3 years, the prices have skyrocketed!!! And, the price increases have far outpaced inflation.

Considering all their merchandise is donated the prices at a number of stores have become outrageous—it’s edging on price gouging.

Furthermore, many of the customers who shop at the Arc for, presumably, affordable life necessitates (home goods, clothing, furniture etc) are people who they themselves would fit the “category” of folks benefiting from Arc’s social services. It strikes me as increasing odd that the Arcs are essentially robbing Peter to pay Paul.

If a mission of a 501 C is to provide social services as a non-profit, they should act like it through all of their channels… even their profit generating enterprises.

Check out some photos I took yesterday of some very basic, not high end, furniture listed for $100, $200 and more.

Lastly, the shelves, racks etc are absolutely STUFFED! Market forces would suggest the stores have too much inventory at prices the market can’t bear (prices too high) — otherwise, the product would move more quickly!

Ludicrous and irresponsible!!
