In The Loop Denver has been an extremely positive experience for me. It’s provided me a variety of opportunities to meet others and attend events as a platform to get out of the house. The events have always been fun looking forward to my first travel event outside of Denver.

I want to share my incredible experience as a member of In The Loop. I've been a part of this group for awhile now and it has truly been one of the best things I have done for myself.
We recently wrapped up our Singles Summer Camp, and I cannot express how much fun we all had! Everyone left with huge smiles, enjoying time with old friends and making new lifelong connections.
If you are looking for something exciting to do and don't want to do it alone.. Don't hesitate! CALL IN THE LOOP!

SINGLE....After my divorce it was hard for me. Most of my friends were married. They gave me the opportunity to make new friends. I would highly recommend going to some of the events. I MEET SOMEONE On the dance floor. I never would have meet him if In The Loop had not taken us dancing.
The opportunity is out there.

A couple of years back, I joined In The Loop (ITL). Initially, I was a little reluctant to attend events due to a challenging life transition and adjusting to a new routine. The cost of membership, coupled with additional expenses for events and extras like drinks and food, also seemed steep at first glance too. Opting for a one-year commitment, it took me about four months to start to actively engage with my membership. However, after attending a few events, I connected with an amazing group of people and started hanging out with them outside of ITL gatherings. I also began to look forward to events where my new friends attended and I made it a personal goal to meet at least three new people at each event, despite only being able to attend 2-3 events monthly due to my schedule. Still a personal goal I have today!

Renewing my membership was an easy decision, as most of my friends remained part of the group, and since then, I've only expanded my social circle even further. The leaders and hosts in Denver, including Kara, Danielle, Bonnie, and Justin, etc. go the extra mile in fostering connections, carefully making introductions of individuals based on shared interests and similarities. My experience has been that their introductions are tactful and that they prioritize the cultivation of long-lasting friendships.

This year, I leaped and joined the ITL trip to Ireland, despite knowing only a few fellow travelers from Denver. It was my first trip abroad and I felt safer exploring with the group than venturing alone. It turned out to be one of the best decisions I've made in a long time. Once again, Kara's thoughtfulness shone through as she expertly paired me with two incredible roommates one from Denver and one from Austin. My roommates turned out to be perfect matches, and I'm convinced our paths were meant to cross! 😊 I loved meeting people from other locations too. We had the best time and to leave Ireland without individuals from Austin, Nashville, and Seattle was painful! I miss them so much but I’m so grateful for our Denver crew.

Your experience with ITL largely depends on your own efforts. The leaders can't force you to attend events or won’t push you beyond your comfort zone. Those who thrive within ITL are typically the ones who, despite being uncomfy at times, persist in mingling, remain open to new experiences, and engage with people regardless of similarities or differences.

Conversely, those who have made tasteless or insensitive remarks failed to address their concerns professionally. It’s no secret that both positive and negative feedback circulates in any social setting or workplace, much like truths and falsehoods. While I prefer to believe in everyone's good intentions, it is very unfortunate that some of these negative reviews have misrepresented the dedication of Kara and her team. I look forward to the events and trips to come. Also if you’re reading this and I haven’t met you yet – come find me! Thanks for reading my essay.

Two years ago, I embarked on an adventure with In the Loop, and what a journey it has been! This vibrant community has been a gateway to friendships that span the globe, turning strangers into companions and cities into playgrounds of discovery. Local events transformed my own city into a treasure trove of new experiences, unveiling hidden gems I'd walked past a hundred times, yet never really seen.

But oh, the travels! Each trip has been a chapter in a book I never want to end, brimming with laughter, shared stories, and unforgettable moments. From the warmth of newfound friendships to the thrill of romantic connections, every encounter has been a brushstroke on a canvas of memories.

If you're in search of a tribe, a place where your heart feels at home, let Kara and Danielle be your guides in the wonderful world of In the Loop Singles. Here, you're not just finding friends; you're discovering a family you choose, one adventure at a time.

The only reason I’m giving 2 stars and not 1 is the staff are very kind. However this group is NOT worth the exorbitant price you pay for it. It’s not advertised on their website (at least when I signed up) but you pay minimum $80 a month for 18 months to be a part of this group while also having to pay to participate in pretty much every activity as well. If you’re in your 40’s - 50’s this group might be worth that since it seems like everyone in the group is around that age. But if you’re in your 20’s - 30’s everyone is 15 to 20 years older than you and also a guy making this group a gigantic waste of money. This group is pretty much the equivalent of hanging out with the staff at any random Home Depot. Don’t get trapped like I did, dating apps may seem like a waste of time but trust me this is so much worse.

I received several calls from In The Loop before I had a chance to pick up. While she explained the group to me I got really excited, as I have only been in Denver a year and am still looking to make friends. It sounded like exactly what I’d been looking for. Connecting with others is pretty high on my list of needs and I was hopeful 🙂
Anyway, I learned that you aren’t welcome to be a part of this group if you have a felony. I expressed how unfortunate that was for me, considering I have two drug-related felonies that took place over seven years ago when I was twenty-two. She apologized profusely and told me “it’s policy”. While I let her know that I understood she didn’t make the policy, I shared how shocked and discouraged I felt that I was being excluded for something that in no way reflects who I am today. My resilience is an asset along with many others that were written off the moment my past was discovered to be imperfect. I find this “policy” to exclude and judge others rather than connect them. These “policies” perpetuate the problem of isolation that so many addicts fought to be free of. We deserve connection too.

(Obviously there are scenarios where is makes sense.. violent or abusive crimes etc.)
