After searching for a home church for 3.5 years after moving to Denver from Raleigh, we have found our home church-- Greenwood Community Church. If you like good bible teachings, friendly, supportive people, down to earth, ready to help staff, give this church a try.

I have attended Greenwood Community Church since the fall of 2006. It is a Jesus-loving community that invests time in people. To illlustrate this, here are a few examples:

The Associate/Men's Pastor and his wife, invested time in having premarital counseling sessions with my wife and I leading up to our marriage. It was a blessing, and we grew from it.

The Lead Pastor has invested one-on-one time with me and many others at GCC. Here, he has been working to equip folks to be leaders in the church with a strong Biblical foundation. He is particularly strong with teaching people hermeneutical skills, in conjunction with exegetical techniques. This has taught me and many others how to understand various passages in Scripture.

The Associate/Women's Pastor has taught Wednesday night classes (among other things) on Jesus' parables, the book of Hebrews, et al., and she has done it via art, story telling, and of course, the Word. She is a natural speaker, and a great person to be around. Additionally, she wrote a letter of recommendation for me to get into graduate school.

These are just a few of many more examples of people walking alongside you. Again, it is a welcoming, Jesus-loving community 🙂
