Our CO cabin was in dire need of exterior stain. Our previous painting contractor had retired unbeknownst to us and we were desperate to find another. He suggested Grand Services. I called in August and Steve Olsen responded immediately and told us he could stain our house “at the end of the season”. He and his crew started the project just one month later and the results are simply TERRIFIC! Because of the harsh CO climate, the state requires a stain different than that previously applied. Color, then, was the issue as our home state is located 1000 miles away. After numerous phone calls , texts, and pictures, Steve proved to be a master in that department as well as his patience with me and my demands.
We simply could not be more pleased with him and his crew. We are extraordinarily delighted!!!

Last summer we decided to upgrade our home instead of selling it. Everyone said it would be impossible to get interior work done that time of year but we got Steve's number from our property manager. We called Steve and despite the fact that he was very busy with jobs lined up months on out, he came to our house within a couple of days. We did a walk through estimate and liked him from the first few minutes. His manner was professional, forthright and friendly. He was honest about the timeframe we could have the work done and offered us a discount if we were willing to wait until his schedule was open. We agreed because we were impressed with him from the beginning. We managed this project from many states away so it was not easy but Steve helped us navigate, wall, window frame and baseboard repair as well as new flooring on the entire downstairs level. He gave us updates, reminders to have materials on hand and would notify us promptly with concerns. Our house was pretty worn out from a couple of decades of us not living in it and he transformed it into a beautiful living space. His work was timely, and prices were fair, I would hire him again and recommend him 100% to anyone who needs painting or repairs on their building.

We are so lucky to have found Steve! From the beginning, he was the ultimate professional and helped guide us through the process of selecting paint while also being very clear on the timeline to complete the exterior paint work. He did fantastic work, and has an excellent eye for what will look good and work well in the mountains. His advice on what to stain our deck pulled the whole house together. I would be remiss if I didn't mention the fact that he did an exceptional job while also staying on the agreed-upon timeline he provided us upfront. This is a small business that needs to stay around as the quality and service are top notch!

Steve painted the inside of our Fraser condo and did a great job. We were not in Colorado at the time, and he got the key out of our lockbox, painted a very professional job, and put everything neatly back after painting. He sent me pictures after completing too . Steve can be completely trusted to do a great job and I recommend him to others! Glad I found him .

Steve just finished painting the exterior of our mountain home and I couldn’t be more pleased with the results! He took the time necessary to do a very thorough and detailed job. There were some challenging places to paint due to the drop offs by the house but Steve snd his crew got it done. I also appreciated Steve’s excellent communication throughout the entire process.
