At one urgent care in golden I had a bad experience however, this location was great! Short line, kind staff, clean areas, etc. My one gripe was they took my vitals and typed in the wrong BP. It said 163/134. I didn’t realize that because no one spoke to me about it during appointment so it must’ve been wrong. For those who don’t know, I’m in my 20’s and a BP that high can cause strokes. I called them later about this mistake and they apologized. The appointment was ridiculously expensive for a couple of tests (Covid and flu, I was vaccinated but everyone around me at work got it) for about $446. I went to be cleared for work but usually I just tough it out until symptoms clear (or go to primary care but that takes months to get an appointment). But that’s more Americas fault and not the specific urgent care which is why I still have them 4 stars. Definitely don’t go unless you absolutely need to because I know some urgent cares give bad experiences. This time was good which can be rare but it’s the one I would go back to!

It is amazing that they fit me in so quickly and explained everything clearly so I understood. For my issue, they only charged me for my urgent care copay which is amazing! They said typically that happens when it is a minor issue and just need to get checked out and before 9pm. I will definitely go back if I have an urgent matter and can’t get in with my PCP.

I recently visited CommonSpirit Urgent Care, and I can't praise them enough for the outstanding service I received! From the moment I walked in, the reception intake woman greeted me with such delightful enthusiasm. Her friendly demeanor made me feel welcome and comfortable right away.

The nurse who attended to me was equally fantastic—she kept the atmosphere light and engaging, which really helped ease my nerves. It’s not often you find healthcare professionals who can make you smile during a visit!

Dr. Guerrero was the highlight of my experience. She asked thoughtful questions and took the time to listen to my concerns, showing genuine care and attention. Her pleasant demeanor made the consultation very enjoyable.

Overall, I had an excellent experience at CommonSpirit Urgent Care. The entire team’s commitment to patient care and comfort is commendable. I highly recommend this clinic to anyone in need of urgent care!

The one star comes from the very friendly and helpful staff. The whole process of payment and being charged was an absolute nightmare though. I think it’s important for people to know that you will potentially be charged twice as some of their doctors go through an independent corporation called US Acute Care. I ended up being charged over $350 just for them to look at my throat and give me a steroid for inflammation. Also had problems between the office and my insurance company as my insurance company was claiming that they had filed my visit under emergency when the doctors office claimed that it was being filed under urgent care. Took me multiple weeks and still have not gotten anything fixed. Again, this is nothing against any of the people who work there as they were all lovely, but the overall process of everything afterward has been an absolute disaster to deal with and it’s importance for people to know the potential extra charge due to the doctors being under US Acute Care.

Be very careful going to this facility. To the best of my knowledge, it is structured more like an Emergency Room than an Urgent Care. The doctors who work there are not directly employed by CommonSpirit and are actually contracted through a separate company called US Acute Care Solutions. Because of this "split billing" structure, you will likely receive one bill when you leave the facility (for "facility services") and a second bill later (for the doctor's care). For me, I didn't receive the bill until 2 months after the date of service. This is technically legal, but more often associated with the way hospitals are structured and not urgent cares. If you are looking for an urgent care level of service, I would recommend trying to find a facility that does not have "Emergency" in the title of the business. I would also recommend asking any facility if they have a "split billing" structure before accepting care.

Incredible staff from the front to back. The front desk lady was an absolute angel, Steven was very kind and attentive, Amelia is quite personable (bff material), Dr. Fichter was prompt and shot me straight, the female who discharged me was quick and has a beautiful aura. I wish they were my primary care!!

I have gone to this urgent care a handful of times for a variety of things. Every time, they have been kind, welcoming, took their tine to talk with me, and helpful. This last visit was particularly excellent. The nurse and doctor educated me a lot, were very reassuring and encouraging, and were so kind. I highly recommend this urgent care.

I went to see them today and I guess I got lucky, but there was like no wait time for me. They took me back and they took care of everything in less than an hour. The staff were super friendly to me and I would recommend this urgent care in the future to anyone who needs caring nurses because I feel like they care about your health!
