Nice little cafe just under the “Welcome to Golden,” sign. Enjoyed a beer with lunch, had the Thunderbird turkey sandwich. Food is good, the service is decent, the atmosphere is terrific!

Came in on a beautiful Sunday afternoon, and this place was definitely busy. The sandwiches we had were absolutely delicious, all ingredients were fresh. Better than the franchise competitors on the same street. The pumpkin bread was the best I’ve ever had, and it was gluten free. We had Arnold palmers which were perfect. I am so excited to come back and try more of the menu, including the coffee! Naiarah helped us out today and her service was exceptional! She went above and beyond during our experience. My fiancé and I spent our visit planing our many future trips to Windy Saddle this summer. A definite new Golden favorite! We won’t be coming to town again without stopping by Windy Saddle! I’m upset we’ve been missing out for too long!

I’ve given a mapping talk in this café in the past and it was great to be back… This time for breakfast. It was so incredible. I had a avocado toast with an egg on it and lots of sprouts… And the fruit too. Thank you all. Oh and the dark roast coffee was superb.

I needed a pick me up on the way down from a wedding in the mountains, and we stopped into Windy Saddle Cafe. over Labor Day weekend(!) and they were packed- both inside and outside. The line moved quickly and the staff were incredibly kind and helpful. There were people of all ages and walks of life, lots of laughter and it looked like the kind of place where everyone is welcome. I tasted my first sip and was overjoyed when I found out that they were serving my favorite espresso EVER by Kaladi Coffee. If I lived close by I would go there every day. They have dairy and gluten free food options, a play area for kids, adorbs store merch and a cute little library. Not to mention the perfect location to take a picture under the Golden arch and it's a block away from the creek. I'll stop by again and take better pictures and get more of that yummy coffee again soon!

The best strawberry chocolate cheesecake I ever had, coupled with one of the best lattes ever - one can’t ask for more than this to be happy 🙂
BTW, the service was prompt and courteous..

We went in here for coffee and brunch food and while the food was really good, the coffee and drinks were pretty bad. The espresso I had was very poorly made and essentially undrinkable, I think their machine might not be cleaned enough. My friend’s London fog was also pretty bland.

On top of this, when we asked to have something else to replace the espresso shot, the baristas were mean and glared at us. They did replace our drink which was good, but the attitude seemed a little uncalled for. This place has really cool vibes and a great location but I don’t think it’s worth the stop unfortunately.

Cute place! More of a full service coffee shop then a restaurant. We enjoyed the oat milk latte we got (the espresso was nice, however served more like a cappuccino then a latte). Burrito was good for $8! We didn’t pay extra for the sauce on the outside. My husband really loved the meat croissant sandwich. The baked goods looked delicious although we didn’t partake. Many GF options.

A favorite spot whenever I visit Golden. Good coffee and tasty sandwiches with gluten free bread options. Staff are always friendly and attentive. Last time I visited two staffers stopped by my table to make sure the gluten free sandwich I ordered was made correctly. The only thing that was disappointing was the limited 1 hour WI-FI access. I understand why they do it especially at busy times but not good for folks like me who try to get work done whenever they stop by here. Overall a good place for food and drinks and I always stop by when I have the time after some fly fishing on the creek!
