Elementary school turned into a rec center People are very nice, but the amenities lack everything.

I love the idea of repurposing the elementary. Would love to see a bit more thought go into making it fun for everyone with complete games and equipment. And we got locked out trying to go out onto the playground.

If you need a workout while in and around Grand Lake, this is an option. They have free weights, a few resistance machines, cardio equipment, and a group activity room. You can buy a day pass or a "punch card" with several passes on it that can be used by multiple people.

Located in the old Grand Lake Elementary School building. Lots of activities and facilities for young and old as well. Exercise, games, outdoor space and playground, meeting areas and a stage. I drive the Grand Lake school bus, Tuesdays some kids are dropped off after school, they always seem very excited to be able to go here.
Update Memorial Day 2022
Dropped Middle Park High School Band here for the parade. The building was open for restrooms. Everything looked very well maintained and clean. Restroom was stocked.

We used the gymnasium at the Grand Lake Center for our wreath decorating workshop. The amazing ladies at the front desk were so accommodating to all of our needs and were instrumental in making our workshop a huge success! Thank you to the Town of Grand Lake for making this building such an asset to our community!

We came from Florida to work at Granby Ranch Ski Area for the season. We have never been beyond the ski area over the years. When looking for a place to live we found Grand Lake. After settling in we found your incredible Center and it's fitness center. Unbelievable! I simply cannot imagine living in this majestic area and NOT utilizing this fantastic resource. There is simply no excuse for us seniors not taking advantage of this private, well equipped resource, Wonderful people, wonderful area,wonderful resource. "If not now....when!" Get down there and get healthy. You are blessed to have this facility so no more excuses!
