Wow this place really is awful. Every employee here hates their job and/or just refuse to do it. Good luck booking an appointment. They will do everything they can to prevent it.

This has been the worst experience I've had with a therapy organization. I can't even count how many times my partner and I were told we'd get a call back and nothing. My therapist who was finding me a new therapist, since our schedules stopped aligning due to a new job, hasn't called me back in over two weeks. My partner has been without a therapist and psychiatrist for over a month and she's been trying to get consistent scheduling. After she FOUGHT with them she finally got scheduled the next week, yet when she went in they said they didn't have her in the system. We've been fighting for a couples therapist as well, and they have been no help. It's been months of stress just trying to get help. We only need help. She literally has a bad diagnosis they know about and have put 0 effort into helping us. They don't care if she's battling suicide daily. It's not just one person either, everyone here does not care. I wish I could give negative stars for the amount of pain that has been caused to myself and especially my partner. I could go on, but I'm too worn out with this place to continue. PLEASE DONT COME HERE. AVOID AND DONT MAKE THE MISTAKES I DID

The Glenwood staff and my doctor were awesome!!!! I have seen so many nasty reviews but my 15 visits in the last 6 months, I have seen only people that are polite, professional and on top of their game. From the front desk to my intake coordinator, I was impressed. Then assigned Dr. Katie Hundertmark couldn't have been more helpful. Felt very lucky! MJ Horn was also great and very knowledgeable. She got some tricky things done for me. Bad news and negative reviews always travels 10 times faster and farther. This is coming from someone that was in medical field for 14 years. Thank you Mind Springs!!!!!! 🙂

I have been calling mind springs all week and no one has called me back or even answered the phone half the time. I've been out of my medication for days with zero refills and no one is helping me get a new one. How careless can a mental health facility be when handling medical needs? This is extremely dangerous depending on the medication and condition a patient is being treated for. This is just the most recent issue I've had with them though. Anytime I need to schedule appointments its always a ridiculously long wait to get ahold of a receptionist. Leaving a voicemail is futile as I have yet to ever recieve a call back over the course of time I've been a patient. It's as though none of the staff care or want to do their jobs. My experience with them is a headache everytime and if I could afford treatment elsewhere I would.

My doctor said I had to take my daughter to Mind Springs for her to get her shot. She said to call before going, so I called and the receptionist was rude & said "well she's not even in our files just a minute", then she put me through to someone else & I got a voicemail. I left my name, number & information but no one has ever called me back. I have tried several times to get in for an appointment with no success. I don't have the money to keep wasting for gas to drive clear out there every day, not to mention trying to wake up my autistic daughter & get her ready so we can be there and wait in line with our service dog which they(mind Springs) don't approve of, in hopes of getting an appointment so my daughter can start getting her shots there if we're lucky enough to get in every month! I have never seen such disorganization, rude staff, & disrespect for disabled people & their service dog's in my life! I guess I will just continue driving 200 miles once a month so my daughter can be treated properly!!!

They don't even deserve the one star I had to put. I got granted visitation with my son for the summer an which he has been seen at MIND SPRINGS many of times before. So here I am I drive all the way from Illinois which is a 17 hour drive and all they did was give me the run around. The staff is VERY RUDE, DISRESPECTFUL and VERY UNPROFESSIONAL when it comes to having to help someone. I called several times to try to talk to my son's doctor or nurse in hopes that I could get his medicine filled before leaving town. All they keep telling me to do was to call the Grand Junction office to try to get a hold of someone there. No one ever got back to me that same day so I ended up having to rent a hotel room for another night. Luckily my son had an appointment the next day at 4 pm. So I called and ask them if there is any chance to get in any earlier than 4 pm let me know please and of course it didn't happen so I ended up spending 4 1/2 hours at the park with my whole family until the appointment. Then when I get to the appointment you would have thought that I had never been there before and I have (which I am on all my son's paperwork due to the whole court process) Then they tell me that they need to see my court order to show that I did have my son for the time that I told them I would have him for. ALL for them to tell me that I had to get the other parent to fill the medicine. What a waste of time. Just not sure why I had to go through all this when I am on my son's paperwork and could have gotten the medicine filled all on my own. I would NEVER & I mean NEVER refer this place to ANYONE! People that work in places like this should be more understanding and professional when it comes to working with disabled people and their families.

Dr. Conklin was great, but he no longer treats patients. I was seeking help for multiple reasons. I was assigned to an EOPS group that was completely inappropriate for me. The group was made up of court mandated individuals with substance abuse issues only. Although I have alcohol disuse disorder, I am not a part of that demographic. I came for my own self-improvement. I shared honestly with the group and was publicly shamed in the group by the leader. Seriously? I was just being honest. Do not expect to share and not be judged. I received absolutely no help for my complex mental health issues. No wonder there is such a high rate of untreated mental health issues and suicide in this valley.

Your case managers won’t reach out until it’s too late and they will over promise on the services available. The therapy was mediocre. Felt mainly like I was being talked at not to and was rarely able to get a word in. It’s worth it to seek out a private practice trust me!
