My aunt went in for a routine procedure with Dr. Laws and came out with paralyzed vocal cords. She was never warned that this could be a possible outcome, yet now we’re being told that it happens “fairly frequently” and that nothing can be done to reverse it.

I’m sharing this to raise awareness—imagine going in for surgery and waking up unable to speak, permanently. Sure, your artery might be clear, but at what cost? Patients deserve full transparency about the risks they’re taking!

I have seen Dr Caleb Seale for my back injury this year. He is great. By that I mean he's up to date, thorough, high character, and caring. He really listens to you and he answers all of your questions thoroughly. I have received injections in my lower back and they have helped immensely. He and the group at procedures at Valley view hospital did a great job they're very careful, communicated well and forewarned me about all that I would feel. The follow-up care is just as good and I have not had any post-op complications.

I received the surgery on 26 February, My experience with everybody in the surgical room and the doctors was amazing. They treated me the most respect and help. I highly recommend this hospital and have never received such amazing service and medical situation situation. If I could give them 10 stars, I would!

I am thoroughly dissatisfied with my recent experience at Valley View Hospital. On January 23rd, 2025, I took my daughter there for care after she developed dehydration and a high fever from influenza-B. While we initially waited about 30 minutes, the delays in receiving proper treatment were frustrating. The nurse measured my daughter's vitals and reported a temperature of 98.4°F, which contradicted the 102°F reading we had at home. When I expressed my concerns, the nurse brushed it off, stating that their thermometer often reads low. After waiting more than an hour without seeing a physician, I opted to refuse unnecessary testing and instead requested fluids for my daughter. Eventually, we left due to the inadequate care and unsatisfactory conditions. We went straight to Aspen, where my daughter was seen quickly and treated effectively. I hope this review serves to underscore the urgent need for improvements in both care and customer service at Valley View Hospital.

I went thru cancer treatment at valley view, the doctors and staff were very professional.
However that all changed when I was scheduled for my PET scan, since my diagnosis and biopsy ect,and during treatment I was able to stay positive, and mentally and emotionally stable.but when they called about my scan 2 days prior they said my insurance has approved it but than said if it is denied it could cost me 10g,I said we'll you said it was approved why are you telling me it could cost me 10g?
At that point I lost it emotionally, after all this and waiting and hoping I beat the cancer all they seemed to care about was money and not the fact they cured me,
I switched cancer centers after this.

The whole experience was amazing, from my original consultation through the day after surgery. Dr Liotta and his whole team were so caring, patient thorough and professional. They made me feel so cared for and the surgery itself went extremely well. Recovery has been better than expected too.

I had a routine colonoscopy and an upper endoscopy (due to some symptoms I’d been having) done on the same day. Dr. Etemad and the Valley View endoscopy team were wonderful. I received excellent care and the procedure was done very efficiently. Dr. Etemad was kind, patient, and knowledgeable…he took time after the procedure to answer my questions, and he listened to my concerns. We’re so fortunate to have a skilled, compassionate GI provider in the Roaring Fork Valley. I highly recommend Dr. Etemad.
