I had a negative experience with the OB at this Planned Parenthood location but chose to move on as a one-off because I support the organization as a whole. Recently, I felt validated in that negative experience when I started with a new OB. They quickly moved me off my birth control because of the high risk it posed for me to have a stroke. Looking back, I think there were moments where I felt off but didn’t realize it was due to the birth control I was on.

What I had deemed a negative experience - at the time - was going in for very painful cramps. I have endometriosis, and the level of pain I experienced was abnormal for my body. The OB at the GW location dismissed my concerns, saying, 'Cramps are normal.' I pushed back and explained that it wasn’t normal for me to be buckled over in pain.

I sincerely hope anyone reading this knows how important it is to advocate for yourself when it comes to your health.

Glenwood planned parenthood staff is wonderful! I was dreading an annual woman’s check up, but Erika and Kala made me visit SO much better than I thought it could be. Thanks for being kind, compassionate healthcare workers. I appreciate your warmth and knowledge!

They went above and beyond for me, they do their best to make you comfortable.
They even have unisex bathrooms, so no one has to choose between male or female restrooms.
I haven't been to a planned parenthood previously, but I will be continuing to go there. It was a wonderful experience, and the staff were lovely.

They accept medicaid (depending on what you're there for) which made my IUD completely free. Thanks planned parenthood!

I use planned parenthood for yearly check ups including breast cancer screening, birth control prescriptions, and pap smears. Without their affordable services, I probably would not have access to these things as my insurance is pretty bad. They are very knowledgeable and kind. Thanks for supporting our community, PP!!

I love the service they give but the can never answer the phones. I’ve been left on the phone for 40 minutes multiple times. This is unprofessional.
