I got my Leo here just a little over a year ago. I am so glad I decided to adopt him. He is now over a year old and a solid 20 lbs. He is very lazy and loves his snacks. He loves playing and he is my little fur baby(he thinks he is human) He got out when he was a kitten and came home, which I was surprised and relieved, he now refuses to go outside(lucky me)

Adopted little mochi from here for my 20th birthday. It’s everything you would expect from a shelter, they are super nice, straight forward, and very easy to work with. Saw mochi on their website early in September and immediately fell in love she is so sweet, the adoption process was very easy and clear they even send you home with some goodies along with your new best friend. Thank you Roist Hursts so much for mochi and your guys cooperation!!

Took kitten in to be spayed and she had complications after the surgery. The staff said oh well and told me to find a vet which cost me over $500. I would not recommend having any services administered at this facility.

The people at the Humane Society were wonderful and so kind. They handled my pup so gently because they knew he was a little bit frightened. I appreciated the patience they shared. ❤️🐶❤️🐶

Amazing experience here. My family was hesitant to bring home such a young pup but the shelter set us up with everything we’d need from a kennel to food and toys. They really care about their animals here. ❤️

We adopted two kittens from Roice-Hurst and they we fantastic to work with. The foster took wonderful care of them prior to us adopting them and did a wonder job socializing them, so they are friendly and cuddly. One of the kittens is almost completely blind but such a brave little girl. I appreciate all the time and energy that Roice-Hurst puts into the animals care and into the adopters.

Everyone there was helpful and caring. I adopted this little beauty! Now on September 3, Alice (Allie) actually came up to me at my backyard table! She let me pet her ears, and she licked my hand! Great milestone!

We adopted our cat there about two years ago now. She is a very shy girl but has since warmed up. They take good care of their animals and are thorough about the adoption process. Even going as far as to offer animal behavioral advice and services for after adoption.
