I donated clothes. This is the only shelter Ive seen that keeps on going. It no fun being homeless,but this place can give you hope

The way you as a person are treated there is extremely disgusting and degrading for a human being. I was so disgusted I didn't even want to go in I'm not talking about the cleanliness of it I am talking about how they treat you as a human being. When I got there this man named Charles was screaming and yelling at the people outside that were lined up. It was not even 6p and he was yelling at everyone that they needed to be there before 6p cuz he& the volunteers had work to do. I didn't even stay for the night. They have people /churches that come in and feed and the times I've been there the meals have been extremely chinnzy and people are still hungry after dinner. I think they need an undercover news person to go in there and see for themselves! I would rather sleep by the river then to ever have to spend a night there!!!!!

The staff there needs to walk a mile in our shoes. Totally clueless! First off, we were told to put out pot paraphernalia in storage, which I did, however one was fortune in my bag and was told to leave at 10pm with temps down in the low 20s.The director got all kinds of sideways with me when I refused to give her my name. Screw her!!! I just showed her the same courtesy she shown me.

Was ok, got shower and food, stayed one night, tried to do my chores in morning, only could do half before they kicked me out, I wasn't fast enough,they told management I refused to do chores. Straight up lied. Then I was hustled out, grabbed my things, then realized I forgot my purse when I was still in parking lot. Went back for it they wouldn't let me go get it, they told me yes they realized I forgot it ,right after I left, and THEY WERE Going to put it in LOST ANd FOUND, instead of opening door to see if I was still in parking lot. OR saving it for me, till I realized it was gone. It had all my ID 's WHY would they put it in LOST ANd FOUND, for someone to pick up and keep it

The staff are only here to abuse the homeless they have no interest in helping and just make a hard situation even harder they steal from people that already have very little and treat them like animals and enjoy doing it your better off on the streets than in this place and it's really sad people like this were Hired to work here could be a half way decent place if it had new staff
