THis place is the WORST! They gave 6 days notice to 'drop' kids from their 'list' that had IEP's and they declared that they could not accommodate. 6 DAYS notice-!! The rooms are over crowded, under LEGAL teacher ratio's for kids, (yep I checked square footage). This place should be shut down - Very Poor communication between teachers/ directors and parents. LACK OF PRIVACY for kids that are potty training. Overall - go somewhere else!! STAY AWAY!!

Both of my daughters have attended Discovery kids. The staff is kind, attentive and makes every day so much fun for the kiddos! Our girls learned so much and were always happy to go to preschool, which made my mom heart happy! The staff and owners are community members whose children attended community schools. Our family feels that they genuinely care and are invested in doing right by all kids in the community, which we love!

We have had a good experience with Discovery. There has been a few concerns but were resolved with a meeting on how we could all do better to help my daughter. All the teachers are great and my daughter has finally gotten excited to go to school. The only thing different I would like to see is a key pad lock on the front door so not just anyone can enter the building. Thank you to Kirk and staff for everything they have done for our daughter and making this a positive transition.

I absolutely loved sending my daughter to Discovery Kids. They were so respectful, caring, fun, and made us feel like family! We felt so comfortable dropping her off there for a few hours and she learned so much! She also developed really great social skills and she still talks about her friends from preschool even though she’s in kindergarten now. The teachers are amazing and sound the rest of the staff! Highly recommend this wonderful school!

My kids have been attending Discovery Kids in Fruita for about half a year. We are so pleased, and relieved as a family to have found a daycare center that we feel good about taking our children to. The staff has always been genuine, kind, communicative, and understanding. Their joy for their work shows and I trust my kids are treated with compassion every day and in every interaction. They are always doing fun and educational activities in both classrooms, like making applesauce, science experiments, tie dye and yoga. They also spend a substantial amount of time playing outside which I value. The classrooms are creative, stimulating, clean, and fun. The owners have always been excellent with communication, pleasant, and adaptable to my every changing scheduling needs. I really appreciate this facility and the care they give.

My daughter has been at Discovery Kids for 3 1/2 years and we could not be happier with the care and teaching she has received. The staff is excellent and my child has developed wonderful relationships with the teachers and staff, as well as with the other children. Kirk and Kim and their crew are kind and responsive and it is a great comfort to know that our child is in such good hands.

My son was at Discovery for about 2 years. I was amazed at what they offered. Discovery kids is not just a daycare, it's the prefect jumpstart into school! My son did preschool there and then continued to do half days while in Kindergarten. I would drop him off to Discovery in the morning and they would transport him to school for afternoon K, then he rode the bus home. Never any issues! The teachers are amazing, and the admin staff were great to work with! I would highly recommend them!

My daughter has been attending here two and a half years. The staff is like family and my daughter loves her teachers. Even in a disagreement I’ve always been treated with kindness and respect till a resolution was reached.
