I'm going to be moving to Denver I need a fresh start. Hurd nothing but good things about Denver in only going to have enough for my ticket and I'm going to need a shelter to stay till I get back on my feet again. Does this state shy away outsiders.

Place is good. Kept tight with rules, it's best for the people that want it the most.
I missed my chore (sweeping the sidewalk) due at noon, and did my chore at 1pm so I lost my reserved bed. Lol. No worries, they put me back on the lotto.

Say why don't they have more of these here in Fort Collins? It's a good get away from families and 'back to the streets' for the weekend southpaw kinda folk. What do they call them hillbilly rancher things in Germany... HOSTILS?! Its common and for lack of better words... It's founded principles is GET OUT MORE, HANG NEAR DARLIN', IM COMING HOME THIS ARFTERNOON. Maybe later noon, maybe nude! Nah, just kiddin. Just hanging with the boys at the later nude saloon. Meanin' we don't get nude here. Well kick arses and raise cash for the smear the queer wear cookware party hat off. I'm just kiddin'. Y'all queer prettiest take the cake or nah, this place ain't a gay pride joint. It's a little crammed for the queers. (Y'all PRIDE smell fart unicorns.. let's find and advertise a safe place for them also, I just know some deer who like to dance. Footloose only one of them, remember that, southpaw... Remember that.) Fort Collins Rescue Mission provides excellent services to a wide variety of people who show up with a mixed bag of tricks. They do shoot for the stars and sometimes they fall short.

It's a wonderful stepping stone to a better life for the person who's willing to follow a few rules. Desperation is the place they meet most people and they respond to their primary needs.

The living situation isn't always perfect because everyone's needs are different. They provide a safe environment to get your head right if that's what you're looking for. There's usually clothing available on a case by case need. Plentiful resources available or direction to where they may be. Typically, one size fits all. They do their best to accommodate disabilities.

The food is prepared daily by volunteers who like to prepare food for the less fortunate. There's not always a choice what you get to eat. If you go to bed hungry it's your own fault.

Theres too many people to thank within the organization who help the needy, love the unlovable, and do it with a smile (usually) daily. I thank you for that. You have been an inspiration to me. Thank you. ~Jimmy

It can be both amazing and horrible. I wish certain staff at mason would stop making up rules depending on if they like you or not. At Jefferson and usually mason you can buy cigs and come back long as you leave your bag, today tho I don't get that privilege I was told essentially you'll have to take your bag and stay out. That's never happened in all the years I've stayed on and off. I'll pray for him.

It's amazing a city where the rich live lavishly and provide nothing to the people that they make poor. Even so that they build a fine dining across the street to mock the ones they make suffer. Then the staff they hire to run the shelter that is a dump and only hold 20 people tell you not to come near the shelter unless you're staying there and you can't get clothes unless you stay there.
