We were so happy to find this place! They had free pickleball courts. It's fully shaded, so it was much easier to play in the heat. The views are amazing! We had a great time.

I love this community sports complex especially because during the summer they tile the ice rink and have Pickleball hours. I met the nicest group of folks at open play. And a bonus, it is covered, but not entirely, so you get a fresh breeze and can see the mountains. Check out recreation hours on their website.

We traveled from balmy Durango to Fraser for youth hockey league games. We were nervous about the forecasted temps and the rink is partially an out door rink. Well it was pretty darn cold for the morning games but once the players hit the ice no problems. Hand warmers for the players on the bench helped warm chilly fingers but all in all it was a great experience. Locker rooms are little tight but the facility is charming and rich with character. Staff was great and quality of ice was good to. One of our hockey dad's, Dusty "Salsa", always brings a smile to the rink.

Visited the park at the sports complex for a quick picnic and trot around the structures and swings. Great place for playing with kids! Will keep it in mind for our travels in the area because it was fantastic for our 3 year old. Not a lot of picnic tables so if you want to sit and eat it might be on grass. Also, not a lot of shade protection and pretty “in the open” so plan accordingly to have your best experience at this great park in the mountains

Played a hockey game here in February 2024 with my 12u A travel team that I coach. It was great! The team that invited us (Fraser Valley) were very accommodating and even had a lunch for us planned.

This sports complex building also houses the sign in desk for Winter Park Adventure Quest, the large ropes course visible from the highway. Our family really enjoyed our time on the ropes course and climbing wall. We also really enjoyed talking with the friendly staff and were pleased by the amount of attention and safety education that was provided. We felt safe and enjoyed lots of challenges on this well designed course. Definitely a highlight of our vacation. The kids keep asking to go back.

Advertised open skate until 4:00. Confirmed with kid working the desk. Zamboni comes out at 3:35 and kicks everyone off the ice. Definitely not worth the price if you don’t know this and come at 3:00 and they take your money, but don’t mention it. Highly suspicious that we stopped for a beer in Fraser on the way home and the bartender knew that curling was going to mess up the skate times today. Hmmm

Fantastic sports facility. I've rink, playground, baseball, soccer and lacrosse fields. Playground and climbing wall. Restrooms and handicap accessible parking available. Fields are all very well maintained. Limited picnic area. Colorado flag was in need of replacement, very faded and tattered, the US flag looked great.
