I'm trying to be as objective as possible. The facilities are top of the line. The classes offered are great, and the staff is super nice. My review is due to the gymnasium schedule and event communication, which is an inconvenience. The app doesn't inform when the basketball courts will be closed for events, and the website document is very inefficient and events are not informed through social media. So, imagine having to drive more than 15 minutes to practice with my son to find that there's an all-day event, using all three courts. Something needs to be done, it's very inefficient.

Widefield Community Center youth sports should not allow clubs or traveling teams to play in our youth sports program. Community Center players have only been playing for weeks together, have a volunteer coach, and have 1 practice a week. Power House Sports team players have paid coaches, have been playing for years together l, have 2 practices a week and travel all over to play in tournaments. This is very discouraging for our girls who thought they were getting better. I don't know who thought this was a good idea, but it is ridiculous. Club ball is completely different than community youth sports. Our parents did not keep score, but you would know that club parents kept score. 56 to 0. Our girls were very dispirited and didn't understand as they thought they were getting better. Hopefully some do not quit now. Parents please chime in here club sports teams have no business playing in a community youth sports league. This is sad for our teams.

Despite the basketball facility being nice, I can never use it. They always have it off limits and I have to get ready, drive over, and see the courts reserved. You can tell the whole thing is a very money hungry organization that capitalizes on any chance they get. They put money before quality and it's constant. The hours are also very bad and they don't have nearly any availability on weekends when most people are free. Very disappointing.

Stuff is super nice. Sports are ages group and not expensive. Couch’s are good with kids. Swimming pool is like $7 to enter even when you don’t have membership amazing deal!!!!

Looks wonderful and that everything is there for everyone. I was there for an event in the office spaces, so didn't USE the facility... However, it is huge, lots of hallways going to all sorts of activities...

But the fact that they have office spaces people can reserve for use, and have plenty of room to conduct is impressive.

I bought the family membership the first week it opened. My family and I have had very pleasant experience so far. The staff is polite and respectful every time we go in to work out. And I want to give a shout out to the two older gentlemen that work the front desk. They go above and beyond to encourage and motivate the kids to do their best. Highly recommend especially for the price.

Absolutely a great facility and great people. However anytime there’s so much is a skiff of snow or a holiday. The place is closed. If there’s any time that are rec center will be utilized at a higher level. It will be on holidays.
Just because of schools are closed doesn’t mean, the rec center needs to be!
