I recently visited this location with my family to attend a Christmas Dinner mostly for the younger children. I was hoping to catch a drink over at the bar before leaving, but didn't unfortunately.
I would recommend this spot to more responsible customers; since this is a Veterans Post and the vibe seems to be for someone to enjoy a drink without any drama.

This was our first time there for their their Friday night dinner the $15 steak dinner a nice size steak, baked potatoes, salad and dinner roll well worth the price. we were getting ready to leave they were setting up karaoke

VFW Post 6461 Is Amazing! They are friendly, fun and caring folks. The post commanders and leaders are wonderful, and with some little TLC can Be One Of The Greatest Posts Around, in social atmosphere, community outreach, and post facilities! Beyond glad to have put my VFW membership into this great post!

This is a great place and it helps veterans and their families. I’ve seen them do what other VFWs refuse to do and actually help those in need. They have one of the cheapest hall rentals around and with enough space that my family has a great time when we came here.

Iam a soldier at ft carson and I volunteered to clean for them to help and they gave me free beer a meal and a game of pool with some buddies that also helped out the place is very clean well kept and the people run are curtious and have many charitable events for veterans highly recommend for a good place to a drink and something to eat
