I am moving out of the country, so need to get rid of almost everything. I drove to Partners during their short donation drop off hours with my car loaded with all sirts of things needed for a home. First, the parking lot was treacherous with ice. I felt very nervous walking around. Then, I could find no one to help me. I called Partners, but no one answered the phones. I finally left and gave everything to Goodwill.
Now I have another load of kitchen items, bath items, etc. Will I be taking all these things to Partners? Nope. If they dont want donations, I will not force them to accept them.

Partners in Housing denied me every time I have applied. But they don't lie they don't say we are going to approve you and everything is going to be alright. They say the process is long, we have a lot of rules and guidelines and people who need help. But don't give up and keep trying. They have helped me with furniture and dishes etc even though I wasn't a client. They truly try to make their help count and try and reach and help the most people possible. They are not just a hand out they are a help up so they try and make sure the families they give funding for are going to succeed.

We were helping friends down size their home. Upon realizing this life change would not allow them to keep much of the lovely furniture and housewares we thought of the tremendous work Partners in Housing does.
We called and texted photos to Jenni, so she could decide which items would serve their clients and families. She responded promptly.
Upon delivery we were met with open arms by grateful staff and volunteers! They were so nice and thankful.
It was such a wonderful experience to know that these personal items collected through the years could continue to help families live more comfortably and could help bring them some stability. Hopefully they can open the door to their home and feel welcome and proud.

They do not live up to there Mission Statement. They allow Discrimination and Prejudice. Another Resident has been harassing, making false claims and making false reports to the police. You would think that due to the seriousness of a false report. They'd be more understanding and aware of Discrimination happening under there noses. INSTEAD they decide to abort they're Mission Statement and kick out a Mother and Child back into the position they were to be rescued from.

PIH is amazing from the director to the staff and volunteers. If you really utilize the program and put in the work it can give you some life changing Possibilities. PIH is a blessing to any applicant accepted. They truly care and want to see Partners Thrive and get back in their feet. The support and encouragement from this housing program is amazing and so helpful.

Partners in Housing is an amazing non-profit organization. I have been a volunteer here for almost a year now, as well as having the honor of being included on the Program Committee. I am constantly blown away by the amount of selflessness, integrity, & dedication put forth by the staff & other volunteers. They provide a desperately needed service for families in Colorado Springs, & unfortunately the demand is significantly higher than the available resources. They provide as much help as they can, to as many families as possible. I have gotten to know so many amazing families who I am confident are learning the tools they need to be successful after they graduate from the program.

In 2019 my family and I was evicted from our apartment and was living in hotels and our van for months. December 2019 someone told us about partners and that was right before the peak of the pandemic. We applied and they gave us so much info to get us by until we were done with the application process. Then 2020 hit and the pandemic was huge and I love how Partners kept in touch with us during the pandemic and let us know it was gonna be a 4-6 months waitlist because the Covid caused a lot of delays. Well in August of 2020 we got the call that our home was ready and let me tell you all!!! It was so beautiful! They’re awesome people and they do all that they can to get you back on your feet! I highly recommend this program and if there’s restrictions there’s alway other options. Also, the people are amazing and they work as hard and fast as they can. They got us into a place quick enough and I appreciate all they’ve done for my family and I.
