Love their mission and what they stand for. Really made me reconsider what party politically I associate with. Very kind and welcoming. You can pick up a food bag, get clothes if needed and toiletries. Lots of great information to educate and bring together the community to stand against injustice, the police and housing issues.

Chinook center is lovely all around. The free grocery bags are always very well rounded. There is no shame, at this place. Everybody is treated like they belong. I certainly understand the need to limit quantities as far as groceries, they serve a lot of people and are just trying to make sure everybody is fed.

My Husband & I have No vehicle. Very "GREAT FULL " to have found a Food Pantry within walking distance. Read a review from a week ago, sounds great! Walked there, DOORS LOCKED! NO ONE ANSWERED CALL! It would be awesome if te voice mail said Closed, or if Web site was changed! We found a second place to go, but ended up walking for hours on sprained ankle.

This was my 2nd time going here we just moved to Colorado Springs with my family of 6...4 children at that and some guy got shitty with me because I grabbed 2 bags after I was told last week to grab 2 bags because we have a big household..he made me very uncomfortable and embarrassed me completely. I will NEVER come here again, what a welcome we have received after moving out of Denver metro to avoid these kind of judgemental people. Very rude and disappointing I guess if I'm not a drug addict or homeless organizations like this I guess don't care at all for families in need. And some homeless lady got 2 HUGE bag of food .no family..nothing. What a joke

Great resource WHEN they are open. Unfortunately they never put up a sign so I drive 20 minutes out of my way to go to them whether the be open or close. I like them but wish they would ATLEAST put up a closed/open sign. People wait up to an hour to make sure no one is coming and that is time that some people don’t have.

A gathering place for groups of people involved in local progressive endeavors.
There's a weekly food-bank distribution here.
And the local chapter of the Democratic Socialists of America meets here at least once a month.
