Improper signage led me to wander around the lobby looking for the right office. The receptionist watched me do this instead of helping me. When I asked her for help, immediate attitude. Absolute power trip sitting behind that desk for someone who just wants to register their spouse to deers. Get a grip on this DMV level staff

I’m not done with the program as of currently. However, the staff is fantastic and the counselor I have is extremely helpful. I went in with the expectation of learning nothing. I assumed there would be a lot of “Hey all you people who joined at 18, this is how real-life works,” assuming no helpful information would be provided outside of “how-to-adult.” I was wrong. The classes are comprehensive, and most lecturers offer one-on-one meetings. I’d be remiss if I didn’t let people know not to judge this place on bad reviews. Remember that most reviews of military services are only done by those who’ve had a bad experience. With a tiny amount of effort on your part, SFL-TAP can be a godsend

I have nothing but bad experiences with this group. They are nice enough but they left me flapping in the wind. Their counselors ignored me and the only contact I had outside of the initial appointment was an email saying thay they assigned me to another counselor... that I never heard from.

They are essentially the VA. They don't care outside of using your name as a number to continue their contract.

Besides getting an initial appointment, which took 2 months of daily calling to even get one which was 3 weeks out, everything else went smooth. Was finished within 2 weeks of starting and the counselors are knowledgeable and good at what they do.

This facility and program are utterly useless. The counselors DO NOT return phone calls or or emails. They do nothing to help you at all through this process. If you call the front desk, 8 out of 10 times it will go straight to a voicmail that isn't setup. Absolutely terrible

Located right next to JAG, TAP is great. Customer service is excellent. Leaving the Army without paying attention to what they have to say would not be wise. And it's almost a one stop shop with Veterans Affairs and Career Skills Program being so close.

Please take care of yourself and your family. Pay attention here before you get out.

Aside from the initial counseling it has been very hard to get ahold of my counselor or even the front desk. I am trying to do an internship for my last 4 months and the SFL TAP office has not been helpful what so ever with this process.
