Been visiting these guy's food pantry since the pandemic and was told they would be minimizing the area codes they serviced recently. The service they provided would have rated highly in this review if it wasn't for a very personally tailored goodbye gift they gave me in the form of a fat-soaken aluminum lined bag. It looked normal at first, but I just unpacked the food I had stored in it and found a layer of what looks like cow fat along the floor of it. I thought I could clean the fat off the foil easily, but it has literally soaken through the first layer of aluminum and is impossible to clean without destroying it. These guys know I'm a pescatarian/fish only diet. I say it everytime I walk through the place. Anyways, pretty bad taste to leave in my mouth parting ways with this location. Seemingly kindhearted, they're just a convient donation center for the middle-class neighborhood's tax deductible extras. Same donators are probably the reason why my oatmeal packets had a sliver of nail polish soaken through the packaging on a visit.

Also, if you care about coronavirus, don't let the homey atmosphere fool you. Some of the longstanding volunteers still work the pantry even with cold symptoms. I can only guess they're the type who don't believe in man-made remedies despite offering various supplements including cough medicine. They also say no bueno to the face masks they offer as well.

Anyways, nice selection. Bitter people.
