Perhaps along with Catholic charities and the food bank, one of the most generous charities in Greeley. They gave us warm clothes in winter, a nonstick saucepan for Thanksgiving without rust like my old one. Food pantry is icing on the cake. I'm so grateful for the gift cards, jewelry, cowboy boots & Christmas nativity set, along with games & books for kids. They serve the homeless without judgement or police. You deserve every star and truly follow Christ. Amen!

Normally, I would have given 5 stars without question, BUT, my friend and I went yesterday (Feb. 27th 2024) and we were rudely turned away. We arrived just a few minutes before 4 pm, when normally we try to be one of the first to arrive, but yesterday was extreemley cold out, and since the time frame was between 3-5, we knew we needed to be there before 5 to be able to benefit from their services... We are always grateful of the services offered here as we are both single mothers trying to provide for our children. So as we arrived to what we understood to be early, and stood In the cold for 20 min. Or so before an older gentleman came and rudely informed us that they were closed and we would have to return the next day they were open! Confused and disappointed, I said, I
thought the website says you were opened from 3-5"? I don't even remember what his response was because by that time I was so frustrated and upset. So When people are there early? According to the time that you have posted on a website , you should have to honor their Punctuality, Because last time I checked 4 o'clock is an hour earlier than 5 o'clock. Pretty sure that's showing up early before a store closes. Not to mention it was bitter cold yesterday. Why these people don't have a place for their patrons to sit inside , especially on cold days like that is just absolutely ridiculous. And it wasn't like we were trying to avoid sitting outside. I would have gladly sat outside in the cold if I could have gotten there earlier. We both have children that are in school until 3 o'clock. And then we have to find a babysitter because we're not allowed to bring our children with us. Or it's frowned upon or whatever and so yeah, we couldn't get there until 4 o'clock and I thought we were doing darn good getting there with an hour to spare!!! I will share my story with everyone I know, which is quite a bit of people in weld county, just so they know how this establishment is treating patrons that are truly in need of help and not to mention how they are treated when they show up on time or early!!! We haven't been since last February according to our appointment cards we were given last time we utilized these services, so it was hard to be turned away, as both of our children have grown a lot in a years time and are in dire need of some bigger sized clothes. 😢
