I went there with a homie of mine. Figured given the circumstances that they would be able and willing to assist my friend with some work boots. But instead of allowing him the luxury of getting any PPE in order to begin his job. Needless to say they were about as animated and helpful as if we had never even had the ambition and communication skills to strike up a conversation with a total stranger and end up having talked or listened your way into a bid contract, win bid and then hitting the brick wall literally cause you aren't allowed on the demo site without the OSHA approved accessories that are manufactured and recommended to prevent certain injuries or severity of in some cases. On a positive note we did however pull off a quickly cultivated back up plan. We were welcomed in, seated guided through the application process. Couple minutes later we were sent back with a bag to fill and 15 minutes to cover the whole place. They had a fair amount of variety of products but on this particular day I failed to obtain any jeans close to my waist size. All 50's and 44's. But it wasn't about me to begin with. I was just helping the homie out and glad I was able to stumble across resolve to a issue that should have been handled by the organizations that are advertised as providing a service for the greater good. They just didn't seem to concerned with how they can and cannot have a impact on a overwhelmed community. Maybe they fell into the wrong career positions.

The people here are really nice and caring. They have services to offer the community and they also help people with criminal history to find jobs and housing resources. This is a place that Greeley needs. This is where funding should go to. They don't mind helping out the community.

The Rock Found is a 501(c)(3) that provides assistance for offenders transitioning back into society. They work one-on-one with their clients, and assist them with everything from housing and food, to developing a resumé and preparing for job interviews.

The Rock Found offers self-developmental programs throughout the week for these men and women: programs which assist them in getting to know themselves, and better understanding how it is they interact with others—also, how to be better men and women, objectively. How to be more virtuous, and develop a worldview & self-image that both supports and thrives upon that progress in virtue.

Working with transitioning offenders can be daunting, but that's mostly just because of the hype. Besides, it's in everyone's best interest: the only alternative to helping these men and women successfully reintegrate into the community, is to keep them locked away forever—and nobody wins in that scenario. To that extent, the Rock Found is always looking to broaden their support network by partnering with individuals and organizations that can assist in its mission. And they always welcome volunteers to facilitate the programs throughout the week—no experience or technical qualifications necessary, just a big heart!

All of the volunteers that I've spoken with didn't quite know what they were getting into when they signed up, but are glad that they took the plunge. It is a constant building and learning experience, not just for the clients, but for the volunteers themselves. If you are interested in growing as a person, and helping along some of the most vulnerable members of society, you should check out the Rock Found.

These people are truly amazing ! When I went there I was treated with respect and brought in with open arms ! they helped me with a resume and also gave me a list of places that hire felons .they also fed me donuts and a burrito when I was job searching 😉 These people are great and I give them 5 stars !!
