Upstairs fitness equipment and track. Everything is pretty new and kept super clean. Has a big pool area but never used it. Gym has a well versed schedule for pickleball, basketball, soccer and open gym. Staff is amazing.

If you’re an Olympic lifter, powerlifter or performance training it lacks the equipment and space for those types of training.
It has everything for bodybuilding type of training or general fitness exercises.

Overall happy with my experience as a non body builder athlete.

We love this place for year-round family fun. They have updated the pool features, and the kids love it. Plus, the slide and the diving boards are always a favorite.

I really enjoy the rec center, however there are too many teens and adults playing on phones and not following gym etiquette, or maybe they have no idea what it is! Maybe everyone should go through an orientation first, including adults.
It's quite frustrating when ppl just high the equipment! Employees should monitor usage and get under age kids out of weight area before they get hurt! Just some ideas 💡 to make it better. I often ask " do you mind of o work in a set" then people look at me like they don't understand !!Also I've seen ppl working out in weight room,in socks and barefoot!
Why have rules of nobody cares?
I'dike to see staff checking for safety up stairs, as I used to see! Thanks

They aquatic center just got new play equipment for the kids, it’s great! We always love coming here. The water is nice and warm, there is a lazy river, and the water slide is really fun! The hot tub is huge and feels great. They have life jackets for kids that might need them, which I loved when my boys were a little younger (5&7 now), such a great place to go during the winter. They have family changing rooms with showers which is great when you have children.

The fitness classes are amazing. I really enjoyed the variety and the level. The daily pass is $7.5 and you will find there everything you need to work out: swimming pool , climbing wall, cardio, weight,... this kind of recreational center should be in every town.

Great community rec Center with all the fixins'. Amazing views of Durango from the treadmills! If they had at least one extra set of dumb bells I would add the fifth star, but sadly, even when it's not too crowded, there is frequently a bit of waiting at the weight rack. The amount of free classes offered makes the membership worth it, but the facility has something for everyone - indoor track, free weights, weight machines, cardio machines (bikes, stairs, treadmills, etc), basketball and racquetball courts, a large indoor climbing wall, a huge pool and aquatic therapy space, lockers, food, water, and the list goes on. It would be even better if they were open longer on the weekends!
