My wife and I recently attempted to make a significant donation of a treadmill to a local charity. Upon our arrival, we noticed a five-man crew busy unloading a donation truck. As I observed them handling various pieces of exercise equipment, I expressed my relief that they accepted such items, mentioning that I had a treadmill to contribute. Unfortunately, my comment went unnoticed, as none of the crew members acknowledged my presence or responded to me. After a brief wait, I finally received assistance when a second man approached. However, he informed me that the treadmill was broken and that they could not accept it. I had disassembled the treadmill into parts for easier transport, which I explained to him. Seeking clarity, I requested to speak with the manager. When I did, one of the crew members began to argue with me in front of the manager, falsely claiming that they had said they would attend to me shortly. This confrontation was not only unnecessary but also disrespectful, especially in front of the manager, Clayton. I have donated numerous items over the years, and I have never encountered such unprofessional behavior; typically, the staff is friendly and eager to help. As a result of this experience, we have decided not to donate to this location again. The rudeness and lack of appreciation we faced were disheartening, especially from an organization that relies on community support. We have other options for donating our items, and it is disappointing to see such a lack of gratitude from a charity that should be fostering goodwill and community spirit.

There other places to donate. Go elsewhere!!

We donate to ARC and Goodwill on the weekly due to our business. Customer wanted Habitat, so that’s where we went. We make sure that what we donate is in good condition and sell-able due to the fact that we donate so much.

Went to the Greeley Habitat with quite a bit of really good furniture. The girl immediately said: we can’t take that couch. The leather is scratched.” My husband’s point: it’s not scratched. It’s rustic and was manufactured that way.” She was extremely rude.

She went and got a male employee. He was also rude, rude, rude. Had to ask him twice to not get into the truck due to liability reasons.

So, we took the entire load to ARC. They were very greatful for the furniture and put the first couch on the floor before we were even done unloading the rest of the truck.

We will try to deter our clients from wanting to donate to Habitat in the future.

I appreciate it for accepting a small but portion of a donation.

Went to buy office chair, found one that might work. It was pretty beat up: holes in it, flattened padding, dirty and hair trapped in mechanism but good enough. They wanted $45 for it! I was so shocked at that price I asked the manager if that was correct. He assured me they had sold many like that for that price. I walked out and won’t be back.

This is the best thrift store in Greeley. I've found so many excellent deals here over the years. I still buy a lot of physical media and appreciate that they keep very reasonable pricing on the music and movies.

Talked to a gentleman inside a few months ago, was looking for some slatwall panels he said it sold as soon as they put it out. I went to donate 6 panels today & the guy said they weren't interested, seemed like he just didn't want to work. I don't think I'll be donating anything there anymore!

At first I thought this place was a scam but after visiting their office and speaking to anna carr, she was beyond helpful. Anna deserves a raise. She really did help me with resources for emergency rental assistance and my heart couldnt be more greatful. She is a God send and I'm very thankful.
