Let's start by saying i do not write many reviews....but I couldn't let this one go. Phil's Comics and Brian ( The Gentle Giant) who runs It, is the best kept secret Jewel In all Broward County !! I've been around Comics and stores for years and this Is my Go To place always for years now. Brian's Is so knowledgeable and customer oriented that he knows what i want even before I ask him, so I stopped asking and just go get my goods every month 🙂
Now my Elderly Mother moved to FL from the NE and she's caught the " comic bug " she's so Into It at 78 she's taking my Comics over !! I call it "Therapy" for her, and she wanted to go see Brian at the comic Shoppe in person....she was child In a candy store....and Brian made her so happy she made him Lasagna!! Italian Moms.... So if you're looking for a Comic Shop let me tell you...this Is your place and Brian's your guy , he will make sure you walk out with a smile on your face.
Thank you Brian, for all the years of great service and caring !

I absolutely love every time I get a chance to visit Phil's comic shop. I can't help but admire their dedication and passion for comic books and the comic book culture. Regardless of what you're looking for I promise you you'll find something to meet your fancy. Bryan will greet you right as you come in and is an open resource for all your comic book questions. They are always welcoming and I can't stress how amazing this place is. If you haven't checked out Phil's comic shop in Margate Florida you definitely need to take the time to do so. It's definitely worth the trip. Highly recommend.

My favorite comic shop of all time. I always say if you can’t find it, Phil’s got it. Phil and Bryan are such a welcoming group. Both are knowledgeable beyond comprehension. The shop is full of all types of comics/manga. And if you can’t find something no worries they will one way or the other. I’ve enjoyed this shop since first entering years ago and still to this day have complete satisfaction in their service. I highly recommend Phil’s comic shop to anyone.

I recently got back into collecting after many years. As such, I have visited at least 5 different shops in the area over the last couple of weeks. To be clear, I was only shopping for comic books, not any other type of collectible. In my experience, the larger shops have good selection but high prices. The smaller shops have better pricing but less of a selection. Phil's (admittedly a small shop) has the best of both, tons of books at reasonable rates. Add to that a friendly and knowledgeable staff, and Phil's proved to be the BEST place to go for comics. If you're looking for a smaller local shop to support in the area, highly recommend.

Phil's is a staple in the area. You get that old time comic shop feel, i just wanna park my BMX and go in and hang for a while, however i drive a car now and have responsibilities 😊 Nevertheless, they are knowledgeable and helpful and always come through in a pinch for books I am missing.

I've been coming to this same comic book shop since I was a kid. Phil always reminded me of Stan Lee himself. Him and Bryan greet everyone with a warm welcome and are always ready to recommend a great new read or help you get what you're looking for. Whether its an old back issue or a previous run. They have everything here from comics to action figures and memorabilia. This place is a part of my childhood and has remained well into my adulthood. I was just there today and picked up these beauties with the help of Bryan

It's a bit small, maybe a little cluttered, but it definitely has what you're looking for. One of the guys working there, real cool dude you can't miss him, a real tall gentleman has an immense knowledge of the comic book world and a memory to tell you where and what it is your looking for. It's a really awesome place with a 5 star history it's earned. Highly recommended.
