Pretty nice rink. It's on a colder side,so dress warm and bring something to sit on, because the bleachers are cold.

Overall, I really enjoy this place. The gym is very nice and spacious, clean, and well-maintained. The only issue that I have is the parking lot. The striping is severely faded and really needs to be repainted, which makes it hard to tell if you have parked properly. It can contribute to bigger issues especially if you are parked to close to another car next to you, in front of you, or behind you.

I never played hockey as a kid, but when we joined the YMCA and saw they had and ice center my son and I took ice skating lessons and then we heard about the learn to play hockey program how equipment was included for first time youth players we gave it a go. Chance is an amazing youth coach and my son quickly fell in love with hockey. Chance also runs a learn to play hockey program for adults so I too gave hockey a go for first time as at 42. Although Chance runs some adult skills programs the adult league doesn't have coaches, but I learned a lot from my son's coaching. I was never much of a sports player as a kid, but hockey is now my sport and 2 years later both of us are still playing all year round. I wished I had learned when I was a kid, but I think it is amazing that they have a great adult program too and although I would have been supportive of my son playing I don't think I would have been quite as understanding and supportive if I didn't have the opportunity to learn to play and love the sport myself.

This is his first season playing hockey at the Lafayette YMCA, but our son has thoroughly enjoyed playing in this league. As parents, we like that the coaching is quality and everything runs on schedule. We highly recommend this program for any families looking for a hockey league to join!

Urine stained shower is absolutely disgusting.
I keep being told they clean it "everyday".
I come for a shower everyday and it has NOT been cleaned at all. Not even once. $75/month to shower in the urine stained shower. Yeesh.

They've got a great thing goin on here. Love the gym, love the basketball courts, love the pool. All for an affordable price. This gym never gets too crowded, and is generally filled with kind people. Thank you to the YMCA for letting me use your gorgeous facilities for my mediocre gains

This is a great place. A one of a kind place.
You can enjoy the outside swimming pool during the summer.
And you can enjoy the skating rink during the winter.
The facility is big and pretty new.
The staff is helpful and nice.

It would be nice if they would update their closing times. I saw that they were open until 9pm tonight (Friday) so I decided to go. But they told me while I was working out that they close at 8pm and that I had to leave. I’m not mad that they close early, I’m mad that the times online aren’t accurate. Because I wouldn’t have gone tonight if I knew they closed at 8pm.
